as long as he gets that "pain/soreness" gone from his left knee, he should be optimistic. we'll know soon enough next yr. but lets focus on this year. we have stuff to do.
he doesnt deserve anyting nor will earn anything, TMAC IS lazy, he likes to show off and get attention, he is not a championship player.

T-Mac is definitely my favorite player. I admire his athleticism and what he brings to this team. I believe that he will still be one of us next season and possibly bring the trophy to where it belongs...here. With that said, I disagree if he really deserves a ring. Right now, my hopes for T-Mac and the ring are shelved because he is recuperating right now. It's premature to say if he can still bring it or not.I say let him rest and hope that his injury will wake him up and give that talent a mix of effort and hustle. Finally, why did I say that he doesn't deserve a ring? To me, no one deserves a ring. One has to work for it. TD and KG didn't deserve the ring, they worked for it. The "deserving part" will follow.
I don't really get the people here sometimes. You guys rag on Tmac for laughing and smiling in losses and when he cries you make fun of him? Bipolar much?
I'm making it a point. Nobody deserves a ring. They need to earn it. And they need to earn it in the playoffs. I could careless how many T-mac vs the Clippers videos you guys post. Big freaking deal.
So you're showing us that you need to earn a ring by showing clips of Tmac crying and making fun of it? If it was Hakeem or any other Rox oldie crying there you'd be saying he showed heart and commitment to the team.
I always found it sad that Barkley couldn't get a ring with us. He was a Rocket who put the team before himself. Its ironic that Barkley would've been a great role model for McGrady.
"The Big Three of the 2008/9 Rockets should be a true championship contender this year" is still RINGing in my ear. Sure I miss the presence of a healthy TMac. Just imagine how great the team would be if a healthy TMac were here playing within the team-oriented motion offense. Since he is not here and had been a drama queen to the team causing a lot of trouble before his surgery, why would he deserve a ring? This doesn't make sense. The videos only showed he's perhaps the only Rocket with the potential of helping Rox going deep into the playoff and probably a championship. But the team is yet to win a playoff series since TMac and Yao had been here. Neither of them derserves any ring. They have to earn it, PERIOD.
I think TMac still has it in him but I still don't think we are going to win with Adleman as coach. Does he deserve it...? Like someone else said there are other great players that have played in this league that haven't won it either and deserved it alot more. The ring is definitely earned. He has alot to prove as well as Artest and Yao. He just needs to get healthy and our team just needs to get organized. With Artest now feeling alot more comfortable behind the arc I'd like to see how adding mcgrady to the mix back at the two is going to look. I wouldn't count him out just yet... the man isn't 40... he's just heading on to 30. What he does need is some self motivation to get better and improve the aspects that he is lacking. I would truly hope to see Ron Artest and TMAC working out together during the summer.
Maybe he deserves a ring, but after what happened in Houston, he should try to get any ring somewhere else.
