I am sorry you dont have money to buy milk or go to school. So you need to suck T-Mac's jock all day.
Threw his coach under the bus? HA HA HA. I guess every time that Coach Rick criticized his players whenever they lost, he was throwing them under the bus too right? I've seen and heard players throw teammates and coaches under the bus, this is not one of them. Not even close. There has been so much worst. Since when did the majority of clutchfans have vaginas under their skirts? And yall have the audacity to call Yao or T-Mac soft? HA HA HA. You guys wouldn't last 30 seconds with the crap T-Mac has to deal with from the media and fans.
Tracy get's 20 million dolars to deal with that type of crap. Bottomline,He's a professional blame shifter and he and grant hill can't get out of teh first round for some reason.
Tracy Mcgrady 1-1 in the fourth quarter is the reason we lost. We have a b**** with no heart for a superstar. And the Deke should have been in comment? You tipped the ball away from Landry you cockeyed freak you should have gotten out of the way like you did the rest of the quarter! 20 million dollar piece of ****.
So I take it you were happy with his underachieving? Get off of T-macs lap and see him for what he is, an overpaid superstar who seems to disappear at the worst times. He also has a way for making others responsible for the bad plays but laps up praise for the wins. If he was making 8 million I wouldn't care but he is almost one third of the salary cap. If he doesn't show up we are done.
I have never seen Adelman directly criticize a decision that one of his players have made. If this has happened, please give me the link to the article/interview. I think people have an issue with the fact that tmac said that landry mistimed his jump when in reality, tmac tipped the ball away. it would have been better if tmac had said that he himself mistimed the jump. Grow up. Yao isnt soft. Tmac is. In my opinion, tmac doesnt care about the fans or the media. He's in it for the money. Mission accomplished. If he actually cared about his image, he wouldnt blame his poor free throw shooting on depth perception problems. He wouldnt blame his disappearing acts on "being tired". He wouldnt tell the media he plans to retire when he's 30. I may be wrong though. Its possible that he just doesnt understand the implications of his word. He's never struck me as an intelligent guy. And its obvious his basketball IQ is low. Maybe he really does care and is oblivious to the fact that all the criticism he receives is his own fault.
Actually, I'm quite happy with his underachieving. I think we should've shipped him out a long time ago. The worse he continues to play, the easier the decision to trade him will be.
I agree that even if Tmac said this, it is nothing. His career record for staying with the team PR line is pretty good, despite all of the REAL frustrations this man has had to deal with. If I had had the right genetics, and could have played PF or C, I would have played with the attitude of Shaq, Oakley, Barkley, Artest - hopefully without the craziness. So by the time I got to the playoffs I would have already dealt with cheating MF-ers like the Jazz. If they had put their pointy little elbow in the middle of my back like nice little old "fair-playing" Boozer did to Mutombo in game 1 (yes he did all you little Utah p*****s) (oh Boozer is a clean player he would never do anything like that, Jerry wants him to do worse but Boozer won't! Right!) the next play down the floor I would have found his mouth or the side of his head with my elbow moving at 100 mph. No more problems with vagina Boozer. Maybe even less of him, with a tooth accidentally on the floor. Now about the rebound, I went and watched it slow. Okur puts that forearm shiv into Landry's back and pushes him under the basket so Okur can get position. No call. But how does Okur and the Jazz deal with paybacks? Right away. Brooks knocks Dwill down, the very next play either Okur or Harpring just out and out flatten Brooks in front of a ref. Battier dumps Okur under the basket last night, the very next play away from the play Okur pushes Battier down deliberately, nothing to do with the play which was alrady over. So if this is the way it is to be played again, then the NBA gets teeth knocked out, and concussions like Mark Price received at the hands of the 1989 Pistons. Maybe we can just rename it "Hockey" and give them sticks too. Where are Mutombo's elbows? Someone in our home office must have removed them several seasons ago after he knocked out LeBron. Listening to homer Rick Carlisle last night was sickening - "Oh that was a foul but this other one was not." Advantage Utah. This series is being called in favor of Utah's style, with the refs refusing to foul out a Jazz player, only calling half the fouls.
If all T-Mac cared for was the money, he would have never demanded a trade to a better team. He could have stayed home in Orlando, made the same amount of money and put up 30 points a game. Why move to another city and play for a better team when you can stay home and make the same amount of cash? I love it how fans act like they personally know a player in and out when all they see of them is what they do around basketball. "Oh, he isn't making his jumpers so he's a bad father." HA HA HA.
If he cared about winning, he would work on his free throws. He would work on being aggressive. He would play better defense. He would work on his conditioning so he wouldnt get tired. Btw, one of the major reasons tmac left orlando was his deteriorating relationship with the magic gm. there was no way tmac was going to be in a magic uniform in 2004. I love how some fans think they're so informed about these things when in reality, they're quite ignorant. Its laughable.
Yeah, because they were losing so much and the GM wasn't doing a damn thing to get T-Mac help. T-Mac didn't want to be part of a rebuilding stage again and thats how it all started. I'm uninformed and ignorant, yet I know this much. And at least come up with your own words instead of flipping my ignorant and uninformed comments into yours. Thats not just laughable, its down right HILARIOUS.
You said that if he cared about the money, he would've stayed in orlando and just collected a paycheck. I pointed out that due to his relationship with the GM, there was no way he was going to stay in orlando. I didnt agree with you. I actually contradicted you. Its odd that you think my contradiction supports your argument.
No, its not like that at all. Maybe I should have kept out the "yeah". I was just making my point. You said T-Mac left because of problems with the GM. I said those problems are due to losing and not wanting to rebuild. Which supports my earlier arguement. I know you are not agreeing with me. The only reason I replied with more elaborate information because you started taking personal shots like that makes your arguments any better. So instead of replying like a smart ass (*ahem*), I went more in-dept to why T-Mac and the GM didn't get along.
First of all, i didnt take any personal shots at you. I was commenting on "some fans" just like you were. You originally said: I pointed out that this was an incorrect assessment due his deteriorating relationship with Weisbrod. There was no way he would've been in Orlando in 2004. You did not mention Weisbrod at all; he was never part of any of your arguments. The only way this supports your argument is if you changed your original contention without telling anyone.
When Williams missed that 2nd free throw at the end, Landry was in perfect position to get the rebound, but T-Mac came from the other side and tipped it. T-Mac couldn't catch the ball so he tipped it and it ended up going over Landry's hands right into Okur's. Landry would've secured the rebound cleanly had McGrady not tipped it. So for McGrady to say (in the Chronicle) that Carl mistimed his jump is factually incorrect. Landry was in perfect position and it was T-Mac coming over from the weak side that caused the rebound to go to the Jazz.
LOL. Where you fail on logic during your debate, you turn to attacking the credibility of your opponent. How classic. Somehow I feel you are arguing just for the sake of arguing. Keep up the good job.
I couldn't find the quote in question, but criticizing your coach and criticizing your teammates after a loss is not a classy thing to do. The criticism Melo offered up recently is making people wonder what the future of the Nuggets organization is.
