Dude, quit stereotyping Asians. Yao is out on Westeimer blazing you guys in his fast and furious roadster.
I actually waited on Deke at my restaraunt Sunday night, it was like an hour after the game and he was there all by himself for like an hour then 2 young black chics finally showed up after he had been calling everyone on his 4 phones, yes he had lots of phones and a Blackberry all layed out on the table. He rolled up in a fat Bentley as usual and ordered lite, said his stomach was all messed up lately, evidentally not enought to go home afterwards since he was at Social later that night. This is the 3rd time I have waited on him and other Rockets at Sambucca and they are always pretty cool and layed back.
Take a look at 3rd picture from top. That lady had her firy eyes locked on Sura? Was she the one that caused all the problems with Bobby's back?
I should prolly start a new thread but I was at Yao's restaurant yesterday and I talked to one of the owners who played ball with Yao's dad. We talked at least an hour. Man, the reason Yao doesn't go out is cuz his moms won't let him. Stevie used to tell Yao to go clubbin with him and hook him up with all these ladies, but the moms got the lockdown on him. His moms also only gives him $100 in pocket change as an allowance. No more, no less...other interesting facts: 1. Yao turned down $1.5 billion deal with Nike because they disrespected him...instead he signed with Reebok for $650 million 2. Yao's afraid of being traded cuz everyone else got traded...he loves Houston and would like to live here forever though...so only way he would leave is if Rockets trade him, not free agency 3. Yao said Van Gundy is always so negative and tellin Yao what he's doin wrong...Van Gundy wakes up at 2am to study film and work on plays like a crazy workaholic. 4. There is no locker room leader. Everyone is sooo quiet. Tmac is very laid back and quiet. Yao and Tmac respect each other, but they don't hang out. It's just not the same relationship as with Stevie. When the restaurant opened, David Wesley and other players asked Yao about goin to the restaurant...all Yao did was give them his business cards and told them to find it themselves. He did however take Ewing and Deke to the restaurant, so that shows who Yao is tight with. 5. Yao and Shaq are really close now. It wasn't like that in the beginning, but they are now...OHHHH, almost forgot, before their first meeting, Yao prepared to face Shaq by eatin 7 big ass pork chops, so he could have meat in his stomach to cushion Shaq's elbows. 6. His uncle said Yao may never be truly great like Jabbar or CHamberlain or Dream because his oriental nature just makes him not dominating on the court. It was a great night gettin all those insights on Yao....You guys should go to his restaurant...the waitresses are hot!
I've seen Sura out at Joiya Lounge several times. Usually he's not talking to that hot girls. I think he left with a chunker too, as I thought he could do better. One time he had a table next to ours, and we started talking a little (because he was hitting on my buddy's girlfriend!) and I asked him about Yao and he said "That big f*ck needs to step it up" Of course this is right before the 8 game winning streak started. Oh well, best thing is to give these guys space and let them have fun when they are out. I was in line at the Boston Market on Grey and was Behind Dikembe Mutombo and it was funny listening to him order "4 whole chiikkkeeeen"

I'm not sure if your concern is genuine, but even if Sura did say that, I wouldn't really worry about it...not everyone is rounded around the edges...here...I'll just translate what Sura said: "Shucks, Yao, what a great kid by the way, just simply needs to play harder by golly!" You see...no cause for concern
I bet he means 150 million and 65 million. In English we have the word "thousand", and then we add prefixes for each place until you get to million. Like "ten thousand" and "one hundred thousand". Except in Chinese, they have specific words up to "10,000" and then start doing prefixes. So it's essentially "ten 10,000" and "one hundred 10,000". So there can often be confusion when trying to translate between the two figures.
