    Unlikely.

I will be extremely happy if he manages to score 15 ppg on 40% shooting.

Well, rehab... actually that was a "didn't do", so you're right -- T-Mac didn't do much last year.

Yeah, the Knicks didn't deal Marbury last year either, who was a $20 million expiring. If they wanted to move him, they obviously would have... right?

So an injury does not stop you from playing poorly in an NBA game? I can't think of how one can be effective on the court without the ability to move. Doesn't 'playing' require movement?

Last year, he was confused what to do with his injury. On one hand, he wanted to prove his loyalty to his fans. On the other, he was afraid of getting traded and potentially ending his career in retirement. Since the majority of players in the NBA are uneducated, I wouldn't be surprised if a player cannot control himself mentally. ;)

as rocket fans, i think we owe it to tmac to at least give him the benefit of the doubt. he's said wrong things, seems self centered, and isn't mature at times, but he's still human and is on the rockets.
he'll be gone next year but i still root for him.

When Brandon Roy hit that game-winning shot last season, he was T-Mac's man to guard, and T-Mac was in the low post watching as Roy shot from the three-point line.

Tmac and artest were supposed to switch on that play but roy just came up and hit a 30 footer, and to say tmac was on the low block is ridiculous, watch the vid again. your hate is blinding you.

(Slight offtopic) What's with the GARM lovefest lately? The board index is so full of red stars I'm getting dizzy. I've never seen this many 5 star threads at once.

I think most Rockets fans are in a good mood since we're coming off a good win against the Cavs and could be winning 5 straight had it not been for a Brandon Roy "WTF how did you make that shot"? That, and the general lack of McGrady drama (combined with the fact that there's videos of him playing pretty damn well in practice) means we're all kind of happy for the moment, I guess.
