http://www.t-mac.com/tmac/blogDetail/1736 The comments are pretty creepy, actually... "Tmac you are the best I love you"? Seriously?
That will be most interesting because I wonder 1. Does he want too? Will he be bitter and pouty about it. 2. Is he willing to go the extra mile to do it Rocket River it will NOT be easy on him
i think his laker comment, like alot of what he says was taken out of context.theres been tons of series(non rocket ones) when ppl asked me who i think will win, it wasnt who i wanted to win. example,i wanted the kings to beat sa a few years ago,but i thought the spurs would win. i think thats where hes coming from. no matter what he does, ppl arent happy. if he shows to support, they boo,if he doesnt "why doesnt this guy show to support". if he doesnt play they say tough it out,if he does, dont play if your hurt. dont get me wrong i am tired of it too,but i have no hate. all will be forgiven next yr..if he plays and plays good.
This is SheMac we're talking about. It's not his knee, back, or anything wrong with his microfibers...he needs a heart transplant. I'm glad to see him out being that his effort and lip service is incongruent with that of his teammates. They deserve better. How would you expect him to be back early? History has shown that if he so much as has a hangnail he'll bench himself for 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile, true stars (Jordan, Kobe, Roy, etc.) play with a host of maladies (flu, broken digits, etc.) unlike frontrunners like TM who won't play if he has the sniffles.
THE SOUR MAC: "How bout them Rockets!" " Portland is a good young team, with a lot of talent, so beating taking them down is something to be proud of. " "Next up is the Lakers. I think we matchup pretty well and I know coach will have us ready." vs "LA unbeatable"
That does not sound like Mcgrady at all. The proper grammer, punctuation, and tone looks questionable. Perhaps someone who actually went to college wrote that blog.
I was going to say, I hope it was actually T-Mac who typed this up not somebody else. Anyways, It's nice to see him cheer on for the Houston Rockets despite the fact that he probably knows he's public enemy #1 in Houston for some reason.
I want to add something. This is what i don“t like about T-Mac, or actually what i would like him to feel. If i was him. I would post something including. (i will put jus phrases that i might write in my blog if i was him) If someone wants to add more, feel free.
Not at all......I don't want him here, but if the organization gives it a go...I will support my team. DD
I'm starting to think one of his staff has written a parody: - he shamelessly condescends by praising the Rockets for the very things he's notoriously not done himself - pulls the "doctor's orders" card to excuse himself from attending a basketball game - finishes off with another unfulfilled promise of things to come The whole thing just screams satire... Either McGrady is more delusional than we thought, or he's straight up gotten punked.
T-mac is my favorite player and made me a Houston fan, but lets be honest here, people have been talking about what can light this man's fire for the last 5 or 6 years and nothing really has. At this point he is what he is and that is laidback. I'm sure he wants to win but I don't think he will ever show that passion consistently. I don't anything will light a fire in him at this point. If not getting out the 1st round ever in his career hasn't nothing can. I wish him luck in his recovery and hope he has a successful comeback whether it is with Houston or another team.
I'm kind of like you.... Except T-Mac was my favorite player and no longer is. He throws his Rockets teammates off the bus, I throw him off my bus. It's only fair. He is laidback, but in his prime he had terrible luck in the league. And Now that he is in Houston, he has pretty much gave up on this team for practically no reason. I do wish him the best, but I truly no longer want him on this team. I'm sorry to say.
Even though he is still my favorite player I can't blame you for him not being your favorite player anymore. He has done some things that will make you scratch your head. I get tired of reading stuff like he lost passion for the game, even though it was because his injury, it's just unfortunate that he couldn't take advantage of what could have been a special year for him with the addition of Ron Artest. I wouldn't be mad if Houston traded him, I would remain a Houston fan but would still watch some of his games to see how he is doing on his other team.
Very good point, however. I just truly do not think he is motivated anymore in his career anymore and I truly don't know why. He hasn't done enough in the league yet, but he's playing like he has nothing to play for. I was a huge fan of his game, but when I saw his lack of hustle, lack of energy and lack of passion on the basketball court. I did not want to idolize him or anything. I do hope he can play again, just not for the Rockets anymore because I would prefer another scoring wing-man like Joe Johnson.
