I'm sorry this is just too rich.

It's like Courtney Love giving someone props for saying no to drugs.

Doesn't he live in Houston? I was able to watch the whole Rockets game on the home channel KTXH20. Maybe has another home in Orlando, LA, etc..

He is in Chicago rehabbing his knee. He couldn't come down to Houston for the game because his doctors told him it was a bad idea.

"I know I’ll be back and have my shot to advance in the playoffs, and for now I’m enjoying the ride watching my teammates."

Does he mean he might be able to play in the later stage of the playoffs?

I love it how he can't ever win. He says something dumb, he's a selfish POS who doesn't care about the team and needs to just shut up. He says the right thing, it's his "really good" PR team working for him.

Them hate-colored glasses are so amazing, aren't they?

    Tmac is a front runner...

Cowboy fan, Yankee fan, and probably a Laker fan.

    ...actually scratch the probably part...

I don't respect anyone like that. For example, I have the utmost respect for Clipper fans, because they don't sell out and jump on the Laker bandwagon just because they're good/popular.

Mcgrady said he never played with a good team before in his whole career in a previous interview that is why he has never been pass the first round. Interesting the Raptors, Magic, and Rockets all advanced pass the first round after Mcgrady left the teams.

Yeah, being booed by the hometown crowd would have made him feel bad. That could have put him in a wheelchair or maybe a body cast.

I think we will miss him against LA when we can't get Yao the ball and the rest of the team is running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

I hope he comes back strong as a consistent scoring force on what already should be a solid team.

Now for the glass half full perspective...

I think we will benefit by having a SG that plays defense.

I think we will benefit by having a SG that doesn't walk up the court in transition.

I think we will benefit by having 5 players on the court at all times that work hard no matter what.

I think we will benefit by NOT having a guy smiling and kissing up to Kobe during stoppages in play.

I call BS. It doesn't sound like McGrady. This has the stink of an assistant trying to cover up for Tmac by addressing the fans' curiosity regarding Tmac's absence from Game 6. Someone who has read all of our comments and criticisms concerning Tmac and whipped up a nice little blog talking up the rockets and how happy he (really isn't) is for them to get out of the first round. This doesn't gibe with Tmac's pasts stunts including throwing the team under the boss, giving Kobe and the Lakers a handjob, and complaining that his team was average. That blog wasn't McGrady.

    About Game 6.

McGrady wasn't there because he knew he'd be booed by the fans. He wasn't there because he knew the rockets would win without him. He wasn't there because he knew he couldn't manufacture any genuine happiness for their victory. He wasn't there because he knew he'd cry on national tv.

He wasn't there because he was never there for the rockets this season to begin with.

Well, I guess you weren't paying attention when they said that TMac's MF surgery wasn't as extensive as Stoudamires or _____ (forgot who). They expect that he can be back sooner than most people expect.

Is that beginning of the sesason, who knows . . . but it's most likely NOT 12months.
