again, to criticize whether tmac should go back is fine. but to criticize him faking an injury and not having heart is another story. i'm sure tmac wanted to go back in. he didn't wear his warm-up sweater until late in the 2nd quarter. so he prollie wanted to go back in. but JVG prollie wanted to sit him out.

did u think of that? JVG wanting him healthy for the playoffs more so than homecourt?

and tmac playing at this pace w/ the warriors certainly won't help his back b/c he would go up and down up and down.

That simply isn't true. If we took care of business and won the rest of the games and Utah lost a couple we could still have gotten home court. That was certainly possible, perhaps not likely but possible. Now, thanks to this loss, we can just forget it.

he took what the D gave him. they started trapping him hard off the pick and roll and packed the paint moreso than start the game.

that's why kobe didn't drive much either b/c we packed the paint. the difference is kobe makes his jumpshots while tmac doesn't.

    get it?

i'm just saying. tmac just needs to make his jumpshots. if he did, there wound't be a problem. i think tmac drives nearly as much as kobe. and if u see kobe play, u would know he doesn't drive as much as he used to either.

the difference is tmac's jumper is effed up lately.

    What?

What if Utah loses tonight? What if we win out and beat them? Not over

sorry, but you're supposed to make freethrows...esp. if you're a superstar. kobe choked missing 2 freethrows last week. dirk choked agasint phx. tmac didnt choke, but he still disappeared.

and like i said. im not a hater. tmac disappeared in the 4th and OT and we got away with one...

Correction, we're THREE GAMES behind the Jazz in the loss column (the only thing that matters, forget the 'half' game crap) because if we end up tying them they will still have home court.

So yes, three games behind (four after tonight, in all likelihood) is 'insurmountable' considering that the Jazz are a good team and they probably won't completely collapse in the remaining 6-7 games like you're predicting in a best case scenario. Of course, that's also assuming that the Rox go undefeated the rest of the way, which is guaranteed not to be the case.

The odds were already heavily, heavily against us.

Home court advantage is not that important for us compared to a rested healthy team.

I'm sorry but I just think that we can turn it on and beat Utah in a series. if we are healthy and rested. Except for Dallas and possibly San Antonio or Phoenix, we should win in the first round. Home court or no home court.

Someone should post a poll about whether people believe he really is injured or just got benched and is saving face.

I was at the slaughter....errrr, game, and it sure didn't look like his back was hurting. He was sitting comfortably on the bench the entire first half. And he came out during shootaround at halftime and was goofing around with Baron Davis before he went back to the locker room for good.

The Rockets mailed this one in. You know they don't even give a crap if V-Span is getting playing time in the 1st quarter. And with Utah potentially losing to Portland tonight, I'm really pissed.

and didn't we win the first two v. a good home dallas team 2 yrs ago?

    and lose 2 at home?

home court is great and all, but if we're good, we're good. the reason we lost to dallas was b/c our depth and age were exposed on the perimeter so a long series was bad for us.

    v. utah, homecourt or no homecourt is fine. as long as we're healthy.

look at how the jazz play tonight v. the blazers. cmon man. as long as tmac is healthy, we should take them.

and i prefer road games. we play better on the road (despite what the record says) energy-wise.
