to finish this season would any of you take lebron james over t-mac?
cleveland has lost five in a row and they have a worse record in a weaker conference. james isn't playing alone either as big z has been just as good as yao.
lebron is obviously a freak and at this pace will be the best player in the game but he is most definitely not a top 3 player YET. i don't really know what that list is representing though cause if they say steve nash is an mvp candidate shouldn't he be higher than 8?

I guess the one thing that stood out was this comment regarding Yao "Not being the DOMINANT player as PREDICTED..."

If memory serves correct didn't most sports writers and analysts say that Yao speculate that Yao would not be able to make it in the nba?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

LOL> One guy had played his entire career with Shaq, the other played with the Orlando Magic.

I don't know if the Rockets think Tmac is better than Kobe. Tmac was just more available. We'll see how big a winner Kobe is now that he doesn't have Shaq. He will regret driving Shaq out of there.

I think the fact that Miami is an instant contender (despite gutting their team to get Shaq), while Kobe got back Odom and Butler (and has Mihm and a guy who is having a career year in Atkins) and still can barely stay above .500 PROVES once and for all who was responsible for winning those rings in LA.

Basically, while you could have replaced Kobe with any number of players in the league (T-Mac, AI, etc.) and still would have won rings, you couldn't replace the Daddy.

    Pure and simple

That's the whole point I call this list is garbage. Other than Shaq, you cannot really rank any players based on their talent, or skill, or other stuff. I didn't say Bryant is better than TMac, or vice visa, but at the end, no one cares about you if you don't win.
