It is classy. Im a big fan of class.

Not hearing about VY or the Titans for 1 year would be bliss.

Ok I won't wish injuries on anyone..... Here is hoping that Bud Adams never wins a Super Bowl in his life or any other life.

    Go Colts!

Seems like you have an easier road to bliss than most folks--just don't click on threads in the handout section with VY or the Titans or variant forms in the handout. How hard is that if this is all that is stopping you from becoming a zen master :D

BTW the Titans have the best cap number in the league by far on top of a nice though incomplete group of core young talent. You have a much better chance of getting to bliss by avoiding their threads than by counting on them losing more than they win.

I would never wish an injury on VY. Cause frankly the Titans would be better off with Kerry Collins at QB, at least in the short term.

I gotta think the Colt's third team will play well enough to shut down the Titans. But we will see Sunday. I dunno though, Vegas seems to think Tenn will win.

I can see VY actually being able to move the ball if the Colts have nothing but second string D in after the third quarter.

Then we will all get to hear how amazing he is in big games.

frankly, i'll be shocked if the Titans don't win this game.

    i could see it now:
Titans win: "The Great VY does it again!"

Titans lose: "What happened to VY showing up for big games?"

either way, all hell breaks loose. i'll probably be in the middle of it. :)

I just want to say I have nothing against the Texans fans.
They can hate VY all they want.

The truly evil people are the people who hate Kenny Smith, Barkley, and Vernon Maxwell, those people need to wear orange jumpsuits and get sent to Cuba immediately.

The Chargers will CRUSH the Titans if they play them in San Diego. The offensive line finally got healthy and is now playing better than they have all season, and the defense is finally getting healthy and dominating again. The Chargers will make it to the AFC championship game now that Marty is gone and the Titans will just be a stepping stone until the Chargers play the Pats.

For one day I will root for one team more than my Browns. And that team is the Colts.

I don't need this kind of stress Sunday, and I'm already feeling a bit nervous.

Has there ever been a situation like this where a team is in contention for the playoffs, but what they do doesn't even matter? The Browns can rest all their players, not even knowing if they are in the playoffs. That's just bizarre.

Looks like Indy will rest many of their starters, Manning is expected to play less than a half. So all the Brown fans need to hope Jim Sorgi will be very hot in that game. :D

I agree the Chargers would beat the Titans, but I'm not so sure they can take out the Colts or Pats to make the AFC Championship Game. Rivers is extremely inconsistent and the last time he played the Colts was a total disaster (and that was at home).

But the defense and running game has certainly come together. Honestly, at his point, I think the Jags have the best chance of beating the Patriots. Their ball-control, no-mistake football might be the way to go - especially if the weather conditions are bad. Ordinarily, you'd say the Colts have the best shot, but they need the weather to be good, and that takes away a weakness of the Patriots.

So if both TN and Cleveland lose, the Browns are in? Is that based on Conf. record first? Pretty crazy if that happens. I don't want the Browns to rest guys. I have Jamal Lewis on my fantasy team and he's pretty much the only reason I'm not 0-16 at this point.

Edit: Didn't the Giants get in last year in a similar scenario? IIRC, they lost their last game and still got in because of someone else losing.

That has happened alot, but in that case the Giants would have made it in had they won if I remember correctly so it still mattered to them.

In this case, it truly does not matter one bit if the Browns win or lose, which is something I can't remember seeing before.

Yeah, if the Titans win, they are in. If they lose, Cleveland is in. In both cases, what Cleveland does doesn't matter. It's because the Titans need to win in order to force a tie in the first tiebreaker and then would win the next tiebreaker.

Giants actually won their last game last year to put themselves into the playoffs. There was a chance it wouldn't have been enough (Green Bay could have made it), but they still had to win to have any shot.

I am pulling hard for the Titans. For one, I'd like to see the Titans in the playoffs. And assume SD is the #3 seed, which should happen, yes I think SD will beat the Titans, but I don't think they will crush them because I don't see SD going up and down the field on the Titans defense. I'd look more for a 20-10 type game. I think the Chargers, Jags and Colts all have a legit chance versus NE, all have excellent defenses, superior running backs (more important in bad weather), and the potential for some ball control drives. That said, I am pretty sure the Colts will take care of the Chargers in the divisional round (the Colts are better because of Peyton is so much better than Rivers, and their defense will be more rested)--NE's AFC opponents will be the Jag-Pitt winner (I wouldn't just assume Pitt doesn't play them better the 2nd time at home), then the Colts.

Most importantly though, the Cowboys have Cleveland's pick. It is bad enough Cleveland picked such a year to have a miracle year, when after their 1st game crushing versus Pitt it looked like Dallas would get a top 5 pick out of it. While Cleveland has done a lot to rb that great pick from the Boys, at least if the Titans win, the Cowboys extra 1st round pick should be about 20, instead of a few slots even later than that. The Browns have annoyed me to no end with all those miracle finishes early season to mid season, at least a couple of the other teams finally got some breaks late (Cards, Bengals).

Finally, the Browns game could matter. If Tenn tied the Colts, the Browns would have needed to tie or win. So the Browns would want to tie to ensure themselves of the best chance ;)

IF the Titans goto the Play Offs

As a Texan fan you should be happy

That would mean your team is not that bad

IT would me you went 0-7 against Playoff Bound Teams
7 out of your 9 losses were to play off teams
then again . . . if they lose . .it would be the same because
then the brown would go into the game

[This is assuming a loss at JAcksonville. . which is not a given]

I'm sorry but I would take alot of heart with the fact
that the texans only loss 2 games they should have won
    and
2 games they probably should have loss
[saints and bucs - maybe in the playoffs]

I mean seriously .. . how far is the Texans from being a 10 win team
a simple division change would accomplist that
If they played in the same division as . . oh . . i dunno . .the PATRIOTS
they would be AT LEAST an 11 win team

    Rocket River
Cheer up Texan fan . . stop the hate .. . . and dwell on yours
