Its you guys who make us hate the Texans.

    1. you didn't watch the game.
    2. the horrible opponent has lost 7 games by less than 10 pooints.
    3. if your team goes to the goal line, and your QB hands off the ball for a TD, he still puts you in that position.
    4. I give credit to the TITANS and Jeff Fisher!
    5. VY is still our guy. you just don't get the hometown loyalty, loyalty to a person who's always represents the his school and his hometown and whatever his team well.

    Yes, I did.

Dude, it's the NFL. With few exceptions, most games are close. If you're a 3-12 team, you're bad. And no decent offense or quarterback should score 10 points at home against such a team.

OK. By that logic, Vince put the Titans in a position to score 10 points against one of the worst teams in football. Not impressive.

Good for you, I applaud that. Others in this thread aren't, though.

I totally get the loyalty. Last year, I watched every Titans game down the stretch and cheered for them. I'll never forget what Vince did for UT. I just want it to be combined with a little bit of common sense. What Vince did last season was incredible, especially for a rookie. He took over several of those games down the stretch with a mediocre at-best defense and almost pushed them to the playoffs.

This season, he's regressed and the defense and coaching staff has carried him. Is that to say he can't be a good quarterback in time? Absolutely not, it's only his second season. Is that to say I won't give him credit if he develops into one? Absolutely not, I was one of his biggest fans this time last season. But let's call a spade a spade... to credit Vince Young with the Titans' success this season is absurd and is incredibly disrespectful toward the real catalysts -- the defense and Jeff Fisher and the coaching staff.

Why do you care what other people think here? I only care about only the good fans here. Look at the Rockets board, alot of them don't even respect the heroes that brought us Clutch City. They insult our heroes, they just care about one player etc.

If I were "I hate VY cause of the people here" then I would TOTALLY HATE THE ROCKETS. But that's not the case, I'm not a Rockets fan cause of the other "Rockets" fans. Its because of the Rockets themselves,

    Ralph Sampson
    Akeem
    Rudy T
    Sam
    Kenny
    Vernon
    Mario
    Calvin etc

Hey, the fans NEVER won the city of Houston a championship, it was the PLAYERS.

The Patriots scored 13 offensive points at home just last week against said 3-12 team.

    Tom Brady: 14/27, 140 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT
    Vince Young: 12/22, 166 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT

I guess the Patriots are not a decent offense. :) Either that, or the extra 3 points are the difference between good and bad.

The weird thing to me is that you're so sensitive that a few people that you've never met on a message board are all it takes to change who you cheer for in real life. And not only that, but that you'd root for a team you claim to dislike in the process.

Go through this entire thread and see if you can find a single person that credited VY for last week's win. Just one. Since you said "others", I assume there are many.

What does this post mean to you?

I will bet the Texan's wished they controlled their own destiny as the Titans do.

but you never brought glory by winning a high school championship or national championship to your city and state.

your job is to increase all the Titans thread counts, that's your job in this scheme of things!

Nope, I cheer for both teams.....

Actually I cheer for certain players on both teams due to my fantasy team.

    Andre Johnson & Bo Scaife.

High School Championships are stupid. Who cares?

UT is not my state, and it for sure is not my city.

    Go Houston.

It means that I am sure the Texans wish they were in the Titans position.

    Nothing more, nothing less.

Last I checked, it wasn't snowing with a 30 mile per hour wind yesterday in Nashville.

That said, even with the conditions, Tom Brady didn't play a good game. The difference is that that kind of performance was an anomaly for him, whereas it's fairly regular with Vince Young.

Since it took winning Sunday to put the Titans "a win away from the playoffs" and this poster is giving credit for "W's and playoffs" to Vince, you do the math...

The bigger the stage, the better Vince does. And this Sunday will be the biggest game of his career. Getting that rag tag team into the playoffs in the AFC will be a monumental achievement.
