Okay, how does this work, if they win, they're in, if they lose, they're out, no matter what cleveland does.

I will bet the Texan's wished they controlled their own destiny as the Titans do.

they are in if they win or if cleveland loses. If cleveland wins and they lose, they would be out onley then.

Here is hoping that KY gets his ass drilled and tears his ACL after throwing 15 interceptions.

    Go Colts!

no I think if they both lose, cleveland is in. but if they both win, the titans are in. how does that work. if it because the titans will rack up another conference loss? cleveland is playing san francisco.

Not true...the titans have to win to be in. The cleveland game doesnt matter at all. Titans are playing an AFC opponent and need to tie clevelands conference record, the 3rd tie breaker is common opponents and titans have the edge there.

If titans lose Cleveland is in even if they lose.

I live in TN and I used to root for the Titans when the Broncos (my team) wasn't in the playoffs, but goddam you VY lovers (like the threadstarter and yaoluv) make it impossible for me to root for them. Like The Cat said, you tools conveniently ignore how pitiful your idol is and how great your defense is and how they are the ones that always bail VY out. I mean nothing is more idiotic than to hear someone say that their team won a "hard-fought" game 3-0 because their QB was able to go 4 for 15 for 47 yards and have 25 rushing yards. Sounds like to me that the QB's team won in spite of him.

So even though I despise Peyton Manning and the Colts, I will take great pleasure in seeing them dismantle the hapless fighting Vince Youngs.

I think the Titans can beat the Chargers, but man, the SD defense has been balls-to-the-wall the last half of the season..

It will be the shortest game on record I bet... run, run, draw, punt... run, screen, run, punt... run, draw, dropped pass, punt...

Yeah, the Titans had them beat several weeks ago but totally choked away the game and lost in OT. I guess if they can beat the colts, and the Chargers end up as the #3 seed, the Titans might be able to find some confidence in that game.

I'm a big VY fan, but for anyone to say he's had a great, or even good season, is silly. The D-line has played really well when Haynesworth is healthy, and Vanden Bosch had an awesome game yesterday. Bulluck helps solidify an otherwise average LB crew, and the secondary isn't all that. Michael Griffin has turned out to be a better pick than I thought he'd be. With all that said, if Tennessee wins and makes it to the playoffs, it's going to try to win games with ball control offense, quality special teams, and a D that will try to keep teams out of the endzone. We'll see what happens....

I dont see where anyone in this thread said VY won the game and not the defense? anyone who watched half of the titans game would be foolish not to give credit to the defense. ive said all year long that D-line is one of the scariest in the league and without them the titans would be 6-10 at best.

I do believe the offensive play calling has limited Vince this year and along with a sophomore slump hes definitely struggled. In the end all that matters is making the playoffs and getting W's.

    go titans

Don't say "KY" and "ass drilled" in the same sentence. You are making all of his fans here start playing with themselves. They all have their fingers in their butts while watching the Titans play already.

Awww....we missed you! When someone said "VY" and you didn't show up, I was afraid that you'd found someone inflatable....I mean "special" to take you away from all your VY vitriol! :)

Merry Christmas, Meowgi! May the big dude in the red suit bring you all you want this holiday season. Namely, a Titans victory so you can bash them for another week or two in the playoffs, as well!
