I look for VY to go nuclear. Clearly, he will be going for a career day. Carr will be doing the same. I look for several interceptions. Schedulewise, playoffswise, this is relatively unimportant game. From the standpoint of the history of the Oilers, Bud Adams, the recent history of the Texans, the Texan's "stupid" first pick, etc. etc., I agree with Hillboy, this game is HUGE
Honestly I hope the Texans lose because we need a better pick more than meaningless wins at this point. Either way, I hope the game is definitive about Carr. I hope he either plays great or plays horrible so we can finally get close to making a decision on him.
If you started out rooting for the Texans, dont jumping ship over the feel-goods. Support your team. If the Rockets franchise started 4 years ago with no winning seasons but TJ Ford goes to the Bucks, don't go supporting TJ's team and blaming lack of success why you should go to a winner. That's concering those fans that firmly stated way back the Texans were THEIR team, and lare now looking for an out (Not so much the casual fan who doesn't have any deep rooting interest on any one team or person) I'm happy for Vince but I don't care what happened today, my team stays the Texans and I'm NOT jumping ship
i firmly stated it. i bought season tickets. had them for 3 years. i am far more interested in the career of VY than the success of the Texans franchise. i was rooting for VY before the Texans ever played a down of football. if we could all drop the high-horse about the allegiance to this 5 year old franchise, that would be great.
