I wish I could root for the Texans. I can't though. The Texans passed on Simms and I didn't care. The Texans passed on Derrick Johnson and I didn't care. But VY is my boy. It can't be explained. VY fans know what I'm talking about.
I wanted VY too especially after the game against USC but it didnt happen and thats that. Ill be rooting like crazy for the Texans. This is the biggest game of the season to me.
I understand. I had a man crush for Hakeem. But Hakeem was a Rocket. I didn't go to UT. No reason for me to root for Vince anymore than I would root for Reggie Bush.
I've been watching ESPN all week and all they say is Texans should have taken VY becuase of how good a year he's had, well hello he wouldn't have those numbers in Houston because of how good David Carr has done this year, especially in the completion % column, and he even tied an NFL record with 22 completions in a row, Houston not picking VY is the best thing that could have happened to him, and Bush, lets just say he's no Adrian Peterson. but me I'll pick Houston Texans to beat the Houston Oilers by about 6 points.
Wow. WTF are you smoking??? Are you kidding me??? How good David Carr has done this yr. He has been absloutely horrible other then some garbage time yds and TDs (such as vs NYJ and IND) Comp % - pshhh please, I could complete 70% of little 3 yd dumpoffs. He has fumbled I don't even know how many times. He was so bad last week that Kubiak said he was just hurting the team so they didn't let him throw 1 pass in the 2nd half, He has 10 tds in 12 games, and he is in his 5th yr in league. He is not a good QB, anybody who still thinks he is, is stupid or blind or high or drunk or something. I know some people are just haters and can't deal with VY's success, but don't act like David Carr is any good.
They will not even win a playoff game, unless they can figure out away to rush for 300 yds and take the ball out of Rex Grossman's hands. Or else it will be just like last yr. Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl.
No, they missed the first 80 years or so. Then they were borne out of focus group glory, and I pledged my heart to them forever.
typical? lol, who knows what's "typical" in the future? teams come and go. that's the current phenomena. eventually they grow out of their environs and an idiot mayor will convince those easily led that it's prudent to spend more for the new. history ain't a mystery.
funny Here's a more direct link for those innurested (as Kenny Hand would say): http://www.profootballhof.com/gallery.jsp?gallery_id=457
