There's something beautiful about a co-MVP quarterback putting his shoulders down and laying the wood to a DB. :)

    Titans driving...ball in McNair's hands....Steve limping. Isn't this what it's all about?

bull**** calls. That was not even close to holding. Robert Kraft may of payed these refs off with a year supply of cheese or something, that was bull****.

Good game, and if Bennet holds on, they win.

Either one of those teams is capable of winning it all.

I just wish someone would teach McNair how to manage the play clock.

All those delay of games, and using 2 timeouts uneccesarily came back to really hurt them in the end.

Reading this makes the Titan's L tonight even more heartwarming.

And you say the Astros never accomplished anything. What did the Oilers ever accomplish, other than an afl title in the 60's that none of us can even appreciate.

    Omar,
The Titans did not choke. You are an idiot if you think they did.

I give props to the Patriots for winning the game. Tough hard nosed football game. Wish the Patriots well for the rest of the playoffs. Great coach and very good team. Much respect.

2 AFL titles, and they lost the 3rd to San Diego.

Also, the Bum Phillips era with Earl was one of my favorite times to be a Houston fan ever.

    side-stepping the flaming war here.

    was a great game

titans fall short again after a valiant effort by mcnair

ya wonder how many years though the titans have to make it again to the playoffs

mcnair has played thru injury his entire career almost, will the injuries catch up with him eventually? who knows.

its funny how before the game the Titans fans kept predicting victory and laughing how they will come to Houston and "show us what they're missing" , where are they all now? All they can do now is derail the thread-- Face it they came up SHORT tonight and they will forever come up short. Whether it be by 1 FG or 1 yd TITANS LOSE!! TITANS LOSE!! TITANS LOSE!! TITANS LOSE!!

Great game by both teams. Pat's just executed better down the stretch. Whether its the Cheifs or Colts versus the Pats, it should be another great game.

And Eddie George is done. The guy is a warrior but he gets less than 3.5 per rush now. Thats pretty pathetic all this " hes a playoff running back" is really just saying "you've had a nice career but its time to hang them up." I love Eddie but if the Titans are ever going to get over the hump Chris Brown will have to be the man back there.

Tough loss. I wish the refs had let us try and win. Putting us at 3rd and 23 took a lot of drama out of it. Great read by McNair when they blitz on the final play. He picked out the correct WR. With more time it would have been a TD. But even without it he gave Bennet a shot. too bad for Bennett too. He was the hero up until then. But a great game. I think if he catches it we go in for the TD. The drive was going great until the penalties. The hardest part was watching the Patriots get every inch they needed on 3rd down. They did that the whole game. That was frustrating. But they executed. I think both teams left it on the field. I'm not sad. That was a good effort. Although I was upset by the McNairs use of the playclock. I'm not going to kill him for it. He has the poise to manage a first down despite them. He likes to read the Defense. And does it so well I can live with that. I also agree that the next team who plays the pats should go for the int. Brady throws short and outside all night. Thats how you pick him off. But you have to gamble and hope the WR doesn't run that go route.

As Crazy as it sounds. I think we get even better next year. Look at who we have filling holes. Each player makes us even better.

    Andre Woolfolk
    Chris Brown
    Rien Long
    Tyrone Calico
    Billy Volek
    Joe Nedney
    Erin Kinney

Even if McNair goes down Volek should be able to step in. I doubt any team will sign him with the kidney problem. Except maybe the Bills. But Bledsoe said he's back if they want him. So Volek should be ours.

I'm assuming Eddie will be released. But even if he stays, we have a solid team.
