Oh snap! Another VY thread? I keed... ' Got to give credit where credit is due...They win and they're in the playoffs...They just need to continue to win and beat the Patriots...
yup. gotta give it up to the Titans. They beat us twice. they're playing in january. we're looking at draft prospects. Texans will be ready for 08.
prettily easily. in your best years (2 to be exact) .500 ball ... every other year you lose. elementary that you're losers. any other analysis is delusional.
currently, this is the case. special regards to fans unwilling to look beyond current inabilities ...
After an extreme desire to punch walls in my apartment but, logic thought better of it. I wish to congratulate ALL Titan fans ie: smokey, halfbreed, and mrdave5-4-3-2-1 contact. This division is going to be the crown jewel of the AFC for at least another 5-7 years IMO. It's going to fun but for now props to the Titans and Jeff Fisher, a definite candidate for Coach of the Year!
You look up Tennessee Titans history in the playoffs, and you will see two things. Music City Miracle, and Buffalo Bills.
dont forget the one yard short....that was a rough one also. Titans have a lot to prove, they dont play or win pretty but they surprised even me this year by making the playoffs.
Forgot about that one. One of the best super bowls ever. That one had to suck a little bit. It didn't gurantee a win, but it gave you a chance in OT. We're going to create some playoff moments. Some good ones. Probably some bad ones...
will easily surpass the Texans. err, Texans have no playoff history ... no? titans rule yah regular season, post season is still a party you've yet to experience ... why are you even continuing this debate? unpopular as it is ... its an indisputable fact, that the Texans are the most unsuccessful expansion franchise in the history of the NFL. when yah surpass all records for futility in the history of the NFL ... folks will, rightfully, label yah losers.
The Oilers weren't so hot upon their entry into the NFL. It took them 8 years since the merger. It took the Falcons 8 years. It took Seattle 7 years to make it to the playoffs. It took Denver 7 years to make the playoffs. It took New Orleans 17 years. It took New York 11 years. There were some other teams who still did not make it to the playoffs before the merger like New Orleans. They were in the league for three years before the merger. So it took them 20 years. Most unsuccessful in the history of the league? Hyperbole much? We're just done with the sixth year, but next season looks promising. Lesser injuries here and there, a few balls bouncing our way, and we might be in the playoffs. The way they structured the last expansion for Carolina and Jacksonville made it pretty easy for them to win from the start. Bottom line. The Texans have the same amount of playoff success as the Titans do in their first six years of history. They had none.
care to back that up with actual facts? or are you just saying it b/c you have no idea what you're talking about. you could have showed up before the Titans made the playoffs. but i guess it's always easier this way.
You dont remember the Tampa Bay Buccaners the first two seasons: Tampa Bay started the first two seasons winless with an overall 0-26 record Maybe thats the most unsuccesful expansion franchise in NFL History.
