Dude this is the same problem for any team in any sport when you have the lead, you play to win, you don't play not to lose.

you also have to look at the other side, they found ways to get the ball to LT (you know that MVP guy).

I never said he blew the game. He just had a bad day thats all. He didn't blow the game, but he didn't necessarily do anything to win the game either. Kerry Collins may have been the better option today.

Here's how our line of replies went.

    I said:

    You said:

So I took that as you saying that was why he blew the game. You even quoted me in your reply as if that was your answer to my question.

No, its overrated. It gets all the hype, but at the end of the day, its only as good as the average soup.

Tony Romo is in his 5th season. Is this his second season starting? Yes, I believe so. But he's had several more seasons of practice, film study, learning to read defenses, etc. With that said, Tony Romo has had a fantastic year, and I'd love for him to be on my team any day, despite my hatred for the Cowboys. But really, is this a fair comparison?

Who would you prefer: TO, Crayton and Hurd or Roydell Williams, Gage, and Eric Moulds?

What about Fasano and Witten or Scaife and Hartsock?

Do you prefer Jones and Barber or Lendale White and Chris Brown?

Should we move on to comparing O-lines, or would it be fair to say that right now we aren't comparing apples to apples in comparing Vince Young's second season starting and Tony Romo's?

Another terrible game for Vince -- what is wrong with him ? His decision making has been awful lately.

Everyone always talks about the Boston chowder. I guess if you havent had food all day and your are cold, then it hits the spot. The same could be said about anything warm though.

Notice that the TitOFers AKA VYOFERS to include MrDave543 either scurried in the corner like rats or were quick to make excuses for another lackluster VY performance. This just in ... Texan fans don't have to make excuses you see Mario is 2nd in sacks in the AFC. Is Reggie #2 in rushing in the NFC? No. But I thought he was a CAN'T MISS once in a lifetime talent? Is VY #2 in the AFC in passing? No. But I thought he was ANOTHER CAN'T MISS once in a lifetime talent? It must really suck Tit fans to have to make excuses for your overrated #3 draft pick QB. I mean Cutler right now is WAY better than VY! LOL!

Mario says "holla back. I'll send a postcard from Honolulu. Aloha, biaaches!" :D

Are the Texan excuses about over-paying for Matt Schaub? :D

I'm a Titan fan. I preferred at the time that the Titans trade down and pick up Cutler along with some other picks, but I can/could/do get enthused about Vince as our QB.

Vince's stats don't match up to Cutler's but then Vince didn't play in a pro-style offense while Cutler did. That puts him years behind in preparation.

Both will get better and I'm satisfied that Vince will close the gap significantly

I think vince is TRYING NOT TO RUN is killing him

To me.. If you have a killer hook shot that I cannot stop
I start b*tching that you cannot do nothing but the hook shot
then you stop doing it .. .well I have won . . I gained an advantage
I think that is what is happening with his running

He so busy trying to NOT be a RUNNING QB
    and being a PROTOTYPE QB
that he basically is losing a weapon to appease people
who want him to fail anyway

BS. I went to Boston in September and had some awesome clam chowder. You must be going to the wrong places. Check out Legal Seafoods, the chowder was badass there. One of the presidents (I forget which one) had their chowder flown in for his inauguration dinner a while back.

Defences are not giving him the run and forcing Vincent to pass. The guy is a one trick pony, and defensive coordinators know that and are exploiting it
