Titans have to pay the $3.39 remaining on his contract.

Middle round picks are GOLD in the NFL, that trade was shocking from the beginning because it had bust written all over it. Tennessee gives up cash and that's it, no real risk unless he breaks CJ's leg by accident.

He was sulking over his contract in NE, NE de-emphasized him in the offense to a degree to make things worse. He had to get a rapport going with Bad Favre and was starting to get there. And, unlike Reggie Wonderful, he really was making everyone's job easier in both places just by running routes. Harvin exploded with him stretching the field.

Putting him out wide and sending him on fly routes instantly removes two defenders teams would rather have spying on Johnson.

People that think Moss is better than Britt haven't watched any football this season. They'll be scarier once he returns from the injury.

The tough gets tougher for the Texans. I would have gotten him just to keep him off another rival's squad.

so how was i wrong about my initial assessment? Tom Brady, one of the elite QBs didn't help. How are Titans QBs going to do better?

i'm sure it improves the Titans just by virtue of the fact that Kenny Brit is out, but maybe he just doesn't have it anymore. i still wish he went to another team, but against the Texans, it doesn't matter who's at WR.

what don't you understand, the problem wasn't ability, they got a 3rd pick from a player they were going to part ways with.

If we lose to the Titans twice I don't think it'll be because of Moss. I think it'll come down to the play in the trenches, as usual with them. If we can control the game there, we'll win at least one.

They would have gotten a 3rd round compensatory pick if they kept and let him walk in the off-season. I am sure it had a little to do with abilty.

    2010 Season:
Young: 103 QB Rating, #1 in the league (59% completion) 9 TD/2 INT
Favre: 70 QB Rating, #29 in the league (60% completion) 7 TD/11 INT

Young: 3 games with a pass over 50 yards and 2 TDs
Favre: 0 games with a throw 40 yards or more. 1 game with 2+ TDs.

Bad Favre is the outhouse this year.

They weren't even trying to get him the ball this year. Belichick did what he does and got into a pissing match with a star player that wanted to get paid.

Moss was in the doghouse on the Pats. Though yes, he was in full dog mode.

Titans are 2nd to last in the league in pass attempts. I think the biggest impact Moss has isn't on the pass game but in the running game with CJ2K. Moss is the worst blocking WR in the league but CJ2K will have one less guy in the box sometimes now.

yea, 33 year old football players dont' lose a step. the Patriots just decided not to utilize their greatest weapon.

he WAS a great WR. i just don't think he has it anymore.

While he is a hall of famer, if he did give his all....all of the time his numbers could be BETTER than Jerry's.
