i wouldnt go as far to call them floppers. Usually, they do absorb some pretty good contact.

Not if the text is properly formatted (line/paragraph spacing, etc).

Eh ... all those soft p*rn-ish images/links make the matter even worse. ;)

I can read Chinese. But please respect the fact that this is an English BBS. I always find it rude of people who talk in a language/dialect when they know there are others who don't understand it.

Actually, this used to be true. Not anymore. With Scola and Hayes both fit well with Adelman's system, this position is no longer a big concern.

The more worrisome position now is the 1 spot. It looks deep on paper, but none of the players is a sure thing.

I don't know. I format everything nicely and it's still a blur. Much easier in print IMHO.

    Bingo on that. :p

Originally I plan to finish the translation of the exclusive interview of Luis Scola before I sleep after completing the other 3 articles in 5 hours.

But the exclusive interview of Luis Scola is just too damn long. I have to find another time for its translation now that it is getting very late. Maybe tomorrow night.

But STAY TUNE for it, as he said alot of great stuff about Yao Ming, and how he thinks he will help to relieve the pressure of Big Yao.

ROFL, I can tell LeFuglyLames is not from China because some of his chinese posts don't make sense at all. How difficult was it to put 'Good, Very Good!' on babel fish and got those chinese translation characters anyway? Anyone can do that without knowing a lick of the language. :)

Thanks for the translation Pryuen! Sounds like Yao wants to take Scola under his wing as a player who has already gone through the challenge of adapting to the NBA and to the American culture. Having Yao their should be an immense help to Scola off and on the court. Both of these big guys are highly skilled and smart basketball players so having them initiate a lot of the offense I feel will make this team fun to watch.

Once Scola eventually gets the nod at the '4', will we be the only team to ever have international (I don't consider Duncan international - he played at Wake Forest) players at the two positions upfront?

I have no interest in the Francis/Bonzi sideshow circus. The Scola/Yao combo intrigues the hell out of me in the possibilities of how revolutionary the duo can be from a frontcourt passing perspective, especially under Adelman. I don't think this has ever been seen before - two bigs together with that kind of passing vision, and that they are both internationally acclaimed and celebrated raises the intrigue. Unfortunately, the two could possibly set new standards for defensive ineptitude if Scola can't quite adjust. Let's hope.

BTW, resigning Chuck Hayes was the most underrated move of the offseason.

Both of them are the pillars of this message board. Sadly Pryuen couldn't join and meet Tinman last night, a supernova should have been born last night in HK. :D

Both positions must be at starting 5?
If no, Raptors also has two international players, Nesterovic(from Slovenia) and Bargnani(from Italy). So It's not easy to count the actual number.

Well I meant starting at the power forward and center positions. I think Bosh starts at the '4' for them.

I think Yao and Scola may be the first ever international 4/5 duo and if not, they certainly would have to be the first high profile one.

If Dampier's level continues to drop, Diop will be starting for him in Dallas.

Long odds this year, but you probably don't want to bet against the (near future) possibility that Yi and Bogut of the Bucks are going to be another international 4/5 combo.
