real friends don't let friends constantly pay for their way... clearly they are taking advantage of the groups' generosity... the group needs to regulate on them freeloaders

Don't go a few times. Let them figure out how to pay for the sponges. Then when the next guy/chick gets tired of it, talk to him/her and say, "Yeah, no kidding got too expensive for me. Like em an all, so didn't wanna go and NOT help pay for them, so just figured it got too expensive.

Pretty soon everyone that was stuck paying the spongebillsquarepants will wake up, reunite with those that have left even though they usually had money to hang, and probably problem will solve itself except for that one person that can't shake the sponge, and it's probably their fault sponge hasn't figured it out yet anyway.

Don't pay for them next time. Pay for your own stuff and when the moochers look to you for help with paying their tab, just shrug and say you don't have the money.

I'm willing to bet the leechers are the more interesting people in the group, which is why you're putting up with their ****. If some shlub in our circle of friends asked someone to cover for him, we'd all laugh heartily.

Roll with crews of over a hundred. Economies of scale = more kobe beef and less whining about unemployed "friends."
