He is 21 years old and has only played for a few weeks now as a starter. If you didn't expect him to struggle some you had unrealistic expectations. You don't go from not playing at all to dominating NBA competition in a few weeks. Of course if he has a 20+ point game this weekend the fan outlook will flip the other way and proclaim he is a future superstar.

Exactly, why play him so many minutes in this important playoff run

Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that D-Mo has no balance and cant stay on his feet. Every single game he has played he trips over his own damn feet. What the hell! I think he is a good player but he is going to have to add some strength to his frame otherwise he is gonna be the next Shawn Bradley...

yes unfortunately D-Mo's game is pretty similar to Yi's. Donatas needs to be mnore aggresive. Even Yi's sorry ass has seen better results when he played more aggresive in the post and attacked the basket more.

Dmo is hot garbage, was never an advocate to have him play significant minute let alone start. PPat and Morris as bad as they were was much better than this kid. He has no lower body strength whatsoever and plays like a small forward. We need a post player at the 4 bad and Trob is the only available option unfortunately. Like his game much more than this DMo softie. Please DMote him.

A post player with no lower body strength is a bad thing.

Not tired of dmo at all. Even when he misses, you can see his potential. TJones is the best pf we currently have on roster, but its a congested spot.

Because it is not an important playoff run.

This team is not going anywhere - getting the experience of the playoffs and the end of season push is priority.

It is about development - playoffs are the cherry on top.

Think longer term - that is about what playing Dmo is about.

Last night was a situation where we played a disiplined front court of guys that were strong with athletic ability. Pacers, Clippers, Memphis, Denver all these front courts will dominate Motiejunas. That's where you start Thomas Robinson. This the nba and like Dirk Motiejunas will need time to develop. Robinson is developing too but he has the athletic ability and strength now to at least battle and Motiejunas doesn't. That's just what I see.

Both guys have an enormous amount of potential, but to me, Robinson is the guy. He impacts games in so many more ways than Donuts. Robinson is our future at that position and I'm damn happy about that!

I voted keep starting him but truthfully I don't care as long as he gets 20 minutes per game in the NBA (same with T-Rob).

    This is comedic.

First the garm throws a complete BF because Pattrick Patterson sucks on D and can't rebound worth a crap, then everyone cries for D-Mo the "wolf" to be unleashed into the woods... Patterson gets traded.

D-Mo starts and now everyone still complains because D-Mo can't rebound or play D.

Next up.... T-Rob, T-Jones, and Smith.

Who will become our next whipping boys out of those 3.

Guess who was beasting in the D-League too. And I don't think Houston believe Tjones is our future PF.

I never favored the mid season trade.

Patterson had a pay day coming up we wouldn't match, we ended up doing well by landing a guy who will blossom or a asset to help out in the major trades we have coming in the future.

Dmo will continue to start for this team but it doesn't matter cause he won't be here next season anyway.
