"we really need to move up a spot because if we drop a spot we won't be in the playoffs"

I wouldn't say we're scared of them. They're just bad matchups. I would be willing to throw a game just so we wouldn't get Utah.

OK, maybe not scared. But of the potential playoff teams inthe West, they're the 2 we'd least like to face.

I hope he get his wish, I would love to see Dallas in first round I think we got a great chance. My order is probably Dallas, Denver and then Portland. Or maybe Portland first because they are the weakest of the 3 in the PG position is what we have trouble containing more then other.

I would rather face Dallas or Denver than Portland. the young guys may be wiped out with 0-4 because of their inconsistency, but they may also do some amazing things like beating the rockets. Dallas used to be a big problem to our team but today's Mavs are no longer a rival to our team, Kidd is still the master on court but Aaron is gonna use his quickness and speed running out that old PG who is older than him by over a decade. Denver looked pretty good through first several months after they traded Iverson, but billups seems to have already lost his curiosity for his home team and started to lead his team to a slope.

Last time, JJ ran circles around AB and the Rockets defense. I'm more scared of what JJ can do than Dirk.

Who does this little turd think he is?

Translated: "Hopefully, we'll move up a spot so the Lakers don't sweep us out of the first round."

IMO the Mavs aren't really a threat to anyone this year with the exception of the Portland Trailblazers. That is the only team that the Mavs have consistently gave problems to this year.

The Spurs would trade the draft rights to Tiago Splitter for what they would see as an automatic 2nd Rd. Bid if they got the Mavs in the 1st.

And as far as the Rox.. the Mavs are the least of our concerns. The Lakers and Jazz are obviously the teams that we dont't match up with well. There is no way that Erika Dampier is going to hold Yao. And if Mavs fans think Va-JJ will carry them to win the series... They are seriously mistaken.

The only thing good coming out of Dallas is 45 South straight to Houston.

The Jazz were in playoff mode while our top two stars stunk from the field. The teams I fear are lakers and blazers
