already posted awhile back in the other thread about this WNBA comeback attempt https://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/jeremy-lin-as-a-pekin-duck.301018/page-32#post-13120318
Well looks like the Warriors didn't want Lin afterall. They just signed 31 yo backup pg Wanamaker. https://theathletic.com/2213463/2020/11/22/warriors-brad-wanamaker/
he could be an inexpensive guard insurance policy for contending teams (LaL, LaC, Bucks, Heat, Celts, Nuggets, etc.) this only underscores the stupidity of Morey kicking Dragic out and gifting an poison-pilled FA contract to JLin, comparing the 3-wk fash-in-the-pan to the likes of Iverson/CP3/LBJ after the failed experiment, had to bribe the Lakers w a #1 and #1 to take on JLin's contract
There are guys who way better then him, younger with more upside in the G-league or Europe and they won’t get a shot at the NBA so why should he get preferential treatment? . Lin had a nice career but he is over 30, with average skill set and a injury riddled boy. So no no one owes him anything
