Started watching this kid last year. Didn't think he was ready. Thought he had good defensive potential but questioned his shooting and ability to be a two-way player. What a difference a year makes. I'm now sold on him because of his development. He's showing vast improvement on the offensive end, especially but not only his shooting. His catch-and-shoot 3-ball looks great. Quick, no hesitation release. But he's also budding as a passer and ball-handler. So obviously he's a diligent worker to have this strong of an improvement in one year.

Somebody is going to get a good, young gifted talent. He reminds me of a young Jimmy Butler defensively with a much better jumper from distance than Butler has now and the possibility of becoming a decent creator.

    Watch.

He was the guy I wanted most if we still had our pick or the Pistons pick. Damn...

100% agree. He was one of a handful of guys I was looking forward to evaluating further.... I really like his upside for that draft pick spot. I never understood those who thought trading D-Mo was a bad thing (given his contract situation) or that missing the playoffs, given the extremely unique pick situation, couldn't be a good thing.

Rockets fans didn't think it was a bad thing. Only those who for some bizarre reason choose to live through DMo thought it was a bad thing.

Also agree. Maybe the Rockets can find a way to get back into the 1st round.

I like him, too. This is a hard draft to follow 7-35 all the same tier. Some mock drafts have him late lotto, others late first, and one has him in the 2nd round. Where every he goes he will start in 2 years or less --> I hope it is Houston.

I read that Korkmaz and Luwawu just because they can't get a promise in the lottery they are seriously considering of withdrawing. That's ridiculous.
