comcast digital has nfl network if you look at the channel listings

    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/2006-07-27-nfl-network_x.htm?POE=SPOISVA

The 2½-year-old channel also has basic cable and/or digital distribution deals with at least 75 cable operators, including Comcast, the nation's top cable provider, and reaches 41 million homes. With the NFL Network airing regular-season games beginning Thanksgiving night, the league thinks it has the leverage to force its way into 25 million more homes this season. The TV, radio, print and magazine ads, which will target cable operators by name, could begin as early as next week, Palansky says.

    Good point :D

If the apartments that I live in weren't so freaking nice, I'd have never moved in because I wanted to keep dish. I've finally gotten used to having TW and its ok for now but I have no desire to go to Comcast. I can't wait to get into a house again.

i live in a gables complex which i guess are considered nice. But when they were building the complex, TWC didn't want to do the complex because it was too much trouble (expense). So then this crappy im mean CRAPPY company named tvmax comes along and snags a deal with gables because their cheaper.

dude just check the website out http://www.tvmax.com

they dont' offer HD or anything...and unfortunatly i'm living on the wrong side to get dish. I need to move.... :)

    LOL to the website. :D

It looks like something that the idiot that owns the domain name for my last name (http://www.mcglaun.com) put up. That ******* will not give it up so that he can keep that piece of crap out on the internet. Maybe he can go chat in some AOL chat rooms while he is at it. I emailed him one time saying that I would buy it off of him and he said he wanted 5 figures. Yeah right. Moron.

I actually could have kept dish at my current apartment but they wanted me to put the dish on my balcony. Uh, no.

The one thing I do prefer about TW to dish is that I have my internet, cable, and phone (which I dont need) all on one bill.

My townhome complex has TVMAX cable, which the fee is included in our maintenance dues. TVMAX cable sucked so bad that I ended up getting DirecTV. So, I have them both. I know my neighbors think i'm nuts paying for satellite tv when there is free cable, but I need my HDTV channels and NBA Leauge Pass!!!! Its an expense that I am willing to pay for good TV.

LOL, that is the epitome of ghetto, most Geocities pages look more professional.

If I were you I would give up tv rather than subject myself to that.

I have direct t.v. because I could only get tvmaxxx. in a thread about a year ago, a poster wrote that tvmaxxx is good for internet service or something.

Cable is just so much more convenient for me than satellite. I've looked into it, it's not going to happen. I would kill for Sunday Ticket.

just make sure you have NFL Network. primetime games and a game on thanksgiving night make that a must at the MadMax house. i DVR'd the 1990 and 1991 Oiler season notebooks and watched them both last night. good stuff.

I wouldn't mind having Comcast, considering I wouldn't be paying for it either (hopefully) assuming I keep my job.

    NFL Network would be nice.

The only thing I'm concerned about at the moment is still having a paycheck come mid 2007.

No, there are a few cable companies with the NFL Network. I believe Comcast is one of them.

yeah, you can't even get league pass with tvmax. let me tell you how bad the max is, everytime you call, the first thing the recording does is tell you where all the outages are.
