On 2nd thought, I'd give anything to go back to America in the 40s and live to see the changes in a post-WW2 world. There's just something about the Cold War era that I love. Seeing America at the height of its economic power in the 60s, conformism, robust manufacturing, communist paranoia, white flight, suburban culture, anti-war riots (back when people knew how to protest like they meant it), urban decay in 70s Manhattan, devolution of Republicans from William F. Buckley to Sean Hannity, etc.
Average life expectancy back then was 28 years. I would take penicillin over a glock Roman citizens could own slaves. You could buy yourself a posse or a harem
I have heard that before but I am not sure how that applies to wormholes which wouldn't be bound by the present. Over Oveur..

Wellll Hellllooooo there, Bladerunner. Is that a glock under your toga, or are you just happy to see me????
I'd go back to 1979 and slap myself for not having the guts to make the move. And if I went back to 1983, I'd slap myself for not paying more attention to grades. (Oh, and buy Microsoft.)
Yes, the average life expectancy was low, but the upper classes could and frequently did live as long as anyone today. I'm not sure what they call a bevy of beautiful girls, but it sounds good!
I would need Cheetahs infection fighting nanomachines, a universal translator and an invisibility cloak. Plus a wizard staff because I'd want to take some vacation photos with the Moses pose.
You know people back then didn't really view being skinny as beauty. You'd be stuck with mostly chicks who are a little chubby. Or in the case of poor people, twigs
For opportunity to do this? <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yPDaz6uO9Ps" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
