Yeah, are you doing anything, such as dropping a few bucks? I have and I plan to do it more in the future. There are several people who have made donation due to this thread, and I think that is a good start. Now we need more people to respond to the call.

I did not post too much, but I have been reading on this bbs a lot.
It's great to see guys are sending money to clutchcity.net. Hopefully we will get a better server soon.

Yes, I did make my first donation a few minutes ago. :)

Thanks clutch for this fantatic BBS!

Can we maybe ask one of the Rocket players to donate just 1% of his annual income to cc.net? Yeah, let's ask Yao. He's the only player that haven't been bashed here yet. And he's a nice guy. :)

The best he can do without feeling the wrath of the NBA is ask for donations.

First sticky thread I started. I was flamed hard last night, but looks like this thread turned out to be a good one eventually. :)
Come on, everybody put a few bucks in the jar!
Clutch, I think there is a good chance that Yao will be happy to throw in a few bucks ($1000?) in the jar too, if he is contacted properly. Draft him a letter, and you should be able to get thousands of endorsement from us.

I'm not in a position to give generously like I'd like to, but I think everyone can help a little bit. This is one of the best thread turnarounds I've seen in a long time, considering the outright offensive beginning.

Go ahead and contribute. You'll feel better once you do.

    :)

I am with you. I am happy to contribute not more than $10 US. But I live in Canada. Is it OK I send a US$ check of a Canadian bank to the Administrator? Or I just send cash?

I haven't really had too much to contribute to the site, but I visit it pretty much nonstop.

Considering my length of time here, my general leeching of bandwidth without adding Rocket content, and my financial position, $1 per post of mine is fair for me.

Enjoy, Clutch et al. And thanks.

    $50 via Paypal to Clutch.

Thanks for running an awesome commercial free site.

($0.02 per post did not work well for me considering I lurk much more than I post).

This thread has turned into a great fund raiser. We should do this at the beginning of every season. :D

haven't had much to do with this site, but I think it might be good to set some kind of a system up here:

    http://www.paypal.com/

also, I go to a few graphic design sites and these guys seem to sponsor a lot of those sites and give them free hosting:
