IMO, a 24 minute limit is just stupid. I agree with the b2bs right now cause we need him to get back into shape/strength or what ever rehabing left.

But i just don't think that we can blame yao for the loss against the denver. I felt he played great for a guy coming back from injury. In the last five minutes, if i remember correctly, he touched the ball like twice on offence. I have no problem with that normally, especially if our shooters are hot, but we were shooting terribly tonight. Why not feed the ball to yao? that one out of bounds play with 1 minute left and down 9 was pointless IMO. If I was to place blame on for this loss, it would be on martin and AB's missed three pointers in the 4th when we were up by like 1 point. those misses really killed any momentum we had.

Don't get me wrong, i feel that a 24 minute limit on yao will mess up our chemistry or any momentum we might have. I feel that on certain matchups like against denver, yao should be able to play for longer while against teams like GSW or Phx, we should sit yao for longer. Its up to the matchups.

There's no sense trading him if you won't get anything worthwhile in return!

Face it, we're stuck with Yao for better or for worse. Let's just ride with it and be happy with whatever we get from him.

3 games in and everyone wants Yao traded. The guy hasn't played in a year and both himself and the team are still adjusting to his presence. An entire season without Yao last year proved we are not even a playoff team. Now only 3 games in, we are ready to give up on him. This is just funny to me

Yao may not get traded this season but I think the real question is, will he re-sign with the Houston Rockets next year?

Given Yao's earlier comments alluding to his frustration whether he fits into this system anymore, it appears that Yao is aware that his half court game is being largely ignored in an Adelman system.

If the Rockets low ball him next season, Yao certainly could begin to explore his other options. That's what Free Agency is about. Would Chicago welcome a 7'6 monster like Yao Ming whose coach Tom Thibardeau has excellent relationship and understanding of what Yao Ming brings to a team?

How about the Orlando Magic who already plays a half court style system? Would not a twin tower combination of Dwight Howard and Yao Ming be absolutely terrifying to the rest of the league? Plus it would give Yao the additional superstar player he covets to play along with.

Yao Ming has many options next season. Many teams will inquire after Yao even with his health uncertainties.

The question the Rockets must wonder is, how loyal is Yao Ming? Will Yao take a low ball offer to remain with the organization? Or will Yao demand a max contract?

What if Chicago offered Yao a 5 year 50Million contract? This would give Yao the chance to play for a coach he likes and feels comfortable with.

I don't want to trade Yao: I just want his salary to be at the minimum. He is a money sink right now.

3 games after a year and a half, limited minutes.

It's too early yet to know what we have.
