    On a serious note,

Only reason I would trade Lowry:

-In a package for Dwight or Deron
-In a trade for Rubio or Irving
-Top 3 pick in this draft. (I have a feeling Morey will try doing this)

By that , I meant that the Francis used to play as hard and used to put too much effort and energy .. which eventually ended his career ( although was a much superior player).

Interesting... You would trade Lowry for Rubio?
and, who would you want to draft with a top 3 pick?

No, drugs, selfishness, and a complete reliance on athleticism killed Stevie's career.

Rubio is going to be a stud soon once he improves his jumper. With a top 3 pick I would draft a stud such as Drummond,Davis, Barnes

I only agree with the first option.

There's no telling that Rubio is going to be a stud. Yes, he can pass and has pretty good court vision, but so does Kyle. At this point, Kyle is a much, much better overall player. Plus, the last thing we need is a soft point guard on this team. Rubio screams soft.

-The whole trade for the draft option is BS most of the time. Unless you can almost guarantee that a guy is going to be a star, you don't trade your current star for him. There's always an exception, but the draft can be a guessing game.

Sorry Rubio is not going to be special..... at least not that special.
Half is hype, other half skills.

He is in a Jason Kidd lite mold. But Kidd isn't exactly among first tier players

You hang on to a late bloomer like Lowry as long as you can, especially with that contract situation

Seriously? Jason Kidd in his prime was a MVP type player. Lead the Nets to the Finals, twice.

In my opinion, Rubio is very talented but he will never be as good as Lowry is today.

Twolves would hang up in our faces if we offered Lowry for Rubio straight up. Laughing stock comes to mind. Lowry for a top 3 pick? My God, how much of a premiere player are you guys thinking he is? Steve Nash made the all-star game over him.
