Favre, McNabb, I don't know who else is out there. On the bright site TJ yates had a 100+ qb rating.

Favre I think can be good for 3 or 4 games. We are going to need a miracle. The worst that could happen has happened. Losing to the colts should be an eye opener.

Look, I don't think a rookie QB in Yates is gonna cut it in the playoffs. But idk if Favre or McNabb is the answer. Kubiak needs to wake up and smell the QB dilemma that's for sure.

Too little too late I think.

Instead maybe ask, do you replace Yates with Garcia or Delhomme? Is Yates the problem or is the play-calling the problem?

    I voted McNair.

If he can raise himself up from the dead, then I think he's probably earned himself a shot at QB.

When all you do is run the ball, how are you ever supposed to get Yates in a rhythm on offense? I'm not sure why Kubiak is going back to that conservative s**t. That won't win us any games against any playoff team. He's a talented kid that's had a gw drive, so let the guy play qb instead of game manager.

Kubiak needs to stop being so conservative. Yates wasn't bad not was he good. He barely had opportunities to throw. It doesn't help that he has no viable downfield threat either.

Kubiak trusts Yates..he gets picked off in the Panthers game...he doesn't trust him and we're predictable as hell. IDK anymore.

Enough with these threads. We're not going to win with a quarterback that's been sitting on his couch all damn season. Good Lord. I realize we're all pissed off at the loss, but seriously?

If you think the Texans needed to look more alive out there tonight, bringing in McNair wouldn't be the best idea.

    RIP, sorry

Here's what I think.......let Yates go wild with Andre Johnson back next week against the Titans since we're already a lock for the 3rd seed. Let's not constrain him and see what he is made of with a good WR. If he does bad...put in Delhomme the 2nd and see what he's made of. Next week should be an experimental game to see what works and what doesn't. It's imperative we find out before the first playoff game.

so sick of people who are so damn sure of themselves when they say crap like this. you, and anybody else, are insane if you think brett favre wouldn't make us better than tj yates does. not saying there's a chance in hell they sign him, because there isn't. but it's an insult to his whole damn hall of fame career if you think tj yates right now is better than brett favre right now (assuming he's kept in shape). he isn't that far removed from the game.
