I am all for that as long as he is replacing Martin. Do not want Martin on this team after the deadline

Absolutely not! he plays a lot better with the second unit. It was fact before his insert into the starting lineup. It's the same after his starting gig. Parson's in a tiny slump but he'll shape around. I just hope that the bear and k-mart will get out of their slumps soon.

This..... Chase's niche in this league is as a good 6th man. I'm not a big Mchale guy but I think he got this one right.

You guys that are saying he is only a 6th man are just incorrect.

Chase is a fine starter, proved it last year, in the right situation.

Right now, he is better off the bench because of the rest of the players on the team.

But I keep reading how he is only a bench player, or just a 6th man....over and over.....which is fine, you guys can say that.....and continue to be wrong.

    :)

    Parsons actually plays D.

You put Budinger with Martin and we can't guard five year olds.

Besides as many said if we're winning there's no point in messing with the lineup. Parsons is more effective with the first unit, and Budinger is more effective off the bench. Simple.

Budinger has been playing good defense lately, IMO. I'm more concerned about the lack of offensive chemistry between him and Martin when they're on the floor together.

    From NBA StatsCube:

    Code:
    Per-36 minutes

    Together: MIN PTS FG% 3P% +/-
    ---------------------------------------
    Martin 283 17.6 38% 26% -3.1
    [B]Budinger 283 12.8 40% 36% -3.1[/B]

    Apart: MIN PTS FG% 3P% +/-
    ---------------------------------------
    Martin 532 21.2 45% 37% +1.0
    [B]Budinger 229 19.3 53% 47% +18.1[/B]

Budinger has become a super-sub of late. :)
