We wouldn't need a dominating PG, because Steve can still get his 5-6 assists at the 2.

Jamal Crawford? With Moochie to back him up?

The problem I have is Cuttino would have to be the bait in a trade, and then you have to match up salaries.

And a trade isn't likely anyway, as I think you also pointed out somewhere, DCkid.

For now. When EG starts hitting like he did, MT comes back, Rice gets going, KT gets going, TMo comes back etc. the scoring will be more distributed and the plays will start going through more players. This is somewhat temporary.

How can you so called "fans" say you want to trade the 2 best offensive weapons on the team. If Francis and Mobley had players helping them out by hitting their shots, this stupid thread wouldn't even exist. Trade MObley. That's stupid people. Let EG and Yao develop into their potential. They are 20 and 22 respectively. They are practically college kids. C'mon... you people make me sick sometimes. Be a real fan of the Rockets, and not someone who jumps onto OUR bandwagon. For all you TRUE ROcks fans.... be patient. its been 4 games. 4. You know the talent we've got. YOu know Steve can play. Lets let the others fall into their roles and see where Rudy T can take us from there. The Warriors are history. WE'll smoke them. Probably by 20!!;)

Kenny Anderson is actually available too. Not saying that the Rockets should trade for Anderson so he could start but he would be a nice player to bring off the bench. Plus if the Rockets go small they'd be a hard team to contain.

I live in the Seattle area. I grew up in Houston and am and always will be a Rocks fan. I was very proud of the way they played last night against a very hot team (Is that not how the Sonics always play us?) We were clicking on only 3 cilindars. Imaging if we were running smoothly? I used to always dislike Payton and his bad ass atitude, but without Payton Seattle would have been the suckiest team in the history of basketball. Payton makes his teammates better. Payton takes over basketball games with his defence and his tenacity. I have grown to really respect and fear him. He has single handedly kept his teams playing at a high level. He has heart and that heart will allow him to play at a high level for 5 years at least if he wants. The guy you saw last night was playing with a contract dispute and is still professional. He is what the Rocks need with all the raw fire power we have. He would make everybody better. Hell, the Sonics do not really even need a coach much. I would never let Stevie go but I could just imagine Payton on this team. If I had to choose I would choose Stevie, but if somehow they could alternate the guard spots it would make Frances that much better and when one of them is on the bench the team would not loose much. We would always be in every game, with expierience to win it in the end. It was funny last night
listening to the Seatte announcers-they were getting really SCARED but ******* Payton could`nt take NO for an answer. We are young and raw playing together as a team but I still think we will make the playoffs if we just believe it - we have the talent.

When the Rockets loose the easiest blame is Steve Francise..its wrong...we just need some time.. We should be gratefull that we have a point gaurd that can scor like steve...cause we dont know when we could loose it...dont hate the second leading scorer in the NBA
