TMac isn't selfish. What are you looking at?

He went from scoring champ (about 30 pts a game) to a more wellrounded player (21 pts about).

How is his attitude selfish? Prove it to us with examples, please.

I dont really know that but what i do know is that the dude cant take critisism good either. Thats another sign of not being a good team player. I saw Rafer tryin to tell Mcgrady somethin during a game and tmac just looked at him with this wierd face as to say 'i know your not talking to me like that'.. Like scola has said 'to be in a team you need to continously communicate'

I also feel that teamates are afraid to you know say crap about him for the fact that every team he has been it seems that its either his way or hes not happy. He had conflicts with his coaches in orlando when things didnt go his way for example

Orlando.... Thats it..... His teammates could talk smack about him in Orlando or Toronto, but how come they didn't, even till now. McGrady hates being unfairly critcized. Kobe hates being critcized at all as a matter of fact, he never criticizes himself. The lost against the rockets this season, he said his "shots weren't going in" instead of complimenting battier's defense or not passing the ball........

Nobody critcizes Mcgrady because they got nothing against him. He plays the good teammate role and supports all the players and compliments them. Something Kobe hardly ever did.......

Have you heard Jeff Van Gundy talk about his character? And the incident your talking about is when Scola made the FT in game 3 vs the Jazz mcgrady was pissed so Rafer said something to him and it actually calmed him down as opposed to what you are saying. Did you hear his post game comments after game 6? For your teammates to totally disappear on you like that , i think he handled it pretty well. The conflict in orlando was with the GM, he was tired of being the 1 MAN TEAM, and questioned the direction of the organization.
Doc Rivers and Tracy were cool as a matter of fact

I just google it. Does it mean that Tmac can't play basketball for a long time from now on? Since he's been playing through it for quite a while now, he may even need surgery in the offseason. :(

Its not a serious surgery. He just needs to fix a few things in his knees and he'll be fine. The reason he had to drain his knees were because of the fluids that gathered inside it. It usually happens when your knee is bruised or swallon. I think McGrady's knees are swallon. A more serious type of swelling, so the surgery is probably for draining any additional fluid inside his knee so that it can heal properly.

Look i just dont see Mcgrady ever being the guy to take the Rockets into an extended playoff run. he doesnt have the denineur to. Before the series started he was mentally defeated IMO.

Even if you're pissed off with McGrady for whatever reason, or you just don't think he's good enough to take us to the next level for whatever reason, there's just no sense in trading him. If we keep him, we're sure to at least be in the conversation every year. If we trade him, we will almost definitely lose talent. There are only two more years left on his contract, anyways. We need to role the dice for those two more years and keep him (and Yao). They are our best best, and I still want to win with these guys.

Just add "alone" to what you said and I'll agree with you. You can't say anything about the way he's performed in the playoffs...the 4th best playoff performer in the history of the game can't take us deep into the playoffs? He needs help , last yr our bench was a joke and Yao, battier, head were too busy playing Casper in game 7. This year... uhh i hope your happy with the fact that we EVEN made it to the playoffs...EVERYONE...and i mean EVERYONE predicted we weren't even gonna make it sir

Agreed! The time is upon us! Unload him. Take the loss and move on.

Holding out for "equal value" for TMac is like the internet celebrities on South Park waiting for their hypothetical dollars.

What do you mean alone? and the reason he is ranked so high in playoff performanses is bc he never gets out of the first round and uses all his energy in the first round

So some players don't use all their energy in the playoffs?

Seriously, now you admit that he uses all his energy. Does that not make him a warrior?

    Wtf are you talking about......

So you win playoffs for yourself. I thought when you win a playoff you win it for the team as well

You are honestly making the least amount of sense right now. What you said here is so idiotically funny that I have to compliment you.

Hmmm...my own logic, reasoning, the rubbish found in your posts seem to be telling me your not really a Rocket's fan? Please, all your posts contradict themselves! You're supposed to give it all you have every round, because if you don't you don't have the next round to look forward to.

Im a big rockets fan i watched every freaken game.. im just not a fan of mcgrady and the attitude he brings day in and they out. i think its negative. I mean i just go by what i see. He is a very talented player but coming straight from high school i dont think he ever learned the way of a team. The way to encourage his teams and help each other in a winning cause. i dont really know how to put it clearly.
