BIG TRADE not likely to happen in the off season.

but I really begin to question the efficiency of the MM.
this does not mean that either is not good ,it is just that the M+M is not 2M or more, but just 1.2M,or at best 1.5M,but they share most of budget.

O+K is more than OK when Shaq is domineering, and Kobi is following, but no more OK when Kobi began to domineer.

perhaps we have to try another half of hte games next season before next deadline ,but the trade value will then change greatly compared to off season.

    That is the question.
    But it is GMs work.

Do you truly think he works his ass off because he sometimes shows up during a 48 minute game. Why do people defend TMac so vigorously? It is completely beyond me. I think he is a very personable guy and probably good around the locker room if you need help changing a tire or advice on something, but he is not a leader and his work ethic is questionable. If he seriously worked his ass off, he wouldn't shoot the horrendous percentage he's shot as of late and if his conditioning was done properly he wouldn't be injury prone as much I wouldn't think.

We need Phoenix's strength and conditioning coach. Look what they've done with Amare, Nash, Hill and Shaq. Amare is a beast after suffering what is usually a career ending injury. Nash has chronic back problems and plays with fire and it seems little to no pain. Hill, well if you know anything about basketball, I don't need to even go into that. Look how Shaq picked up his numbers in Phoenix. Maybe our problems fall on the coaching staff.

I love the Rockets as much as the next Rox fan, but realistically speaking, as a fan aren't you allowed to analyze your team and see what pieces would fit better for the team. This is a Team game. It's been proven time and again that even the best players can't get it done by themselves. I've never understood how a man could stand around and sweat and slobber over another. "Oh, Kobe, he's so graceful" or "Oh, King James, You are the best".

I understand being a fan of somebody or them being your role model, but they ain't your family and there's no need to take it personal when someone makes a statement about them.

For the record, I am a Rockets fan. I am not a TMac fan or a Yao fan, but a Rockets fan. I could really care less who plays for them as long as we are a good team and even when we're bad as long as it's competitive and entertaining. I think the biggest problem is some of the young kids go out and spend all their allowance on shoes and jerseys and whatnot that they don't want the person to go to a different team. Look at it this way young buck, a player could always come back, like Francis. I dusted that jersey off and pulled it out of the back of the closet, nice.

    Anyway, happy fanhood to everyone.

No, we should not. I have faith that he has 2 good years left in him.

After 2 seasons, throw max money at LBJ/Wade (if healthy) since they can both opt out

It comes down to guys who have watched basketball (or any professional sport) for years and newcomers. If you've been a fan of a franchise for a period of years then you've seen the roster change, over and over. If you've been a fan for a period of years then it's almost inevitable that you've seen one player that you really, really like get traded off and become the enemy. When you've been a fan for years and years then inevitably what comes to matter is the organization and not the roster, because the roster always changes. Newbies on the other hand tend to fixate on individuals.

    A trade T-Mac thread with 10 pages? 10 F***ING PAGES!?

I suggest we sign Kwame Brown for 1 year $12 million, and trade him to the Lakers for Pau Gasol.

    Yao / Gasol / Hayes
    Gasol / Scola / Harris
    Battier / Landry / Novak
    McGrady / Head / Francis
    Alston / Brooks / Jackson
