I love JVG, but his offense was absolutely brutal. It would not work with the way the game is played these days.
I love JVG, despite him stifling my favorite player at the time (Francis). He admitted he'd do things differently while watching Russ play in the finals against the Heat and I believe him. He'd also make our defense top 5 imo. But, it all comes down to how well he'd mesh with Harden. JVG calls all his players to accountability on both ends. It woulda meshed well with a guy like cp3 but Harden might get triggered. Shrugs, maybe him deferring to Russ more could open up those parts of his game tho

We need a strong center for defence. How about MDA as assistant coach for offence and Van Gundy as main coach to call timeout and defence. It will be perfect. Hire 2 coaches will not cost many money.
MDA is looking for his last bigger contract before retirement. Cheaper choice would be getting a younger option. Like Chris Finch in the past.
