7'4 vs. 7'6? Both having simply odd season ending injuries?

Explanation fail on your end, if anything.

It was a chain reaction. The hip injury gave way to the knee injury.
Ralph was amazing though. We will never forget 86.

i think you mistaken that for "AB is a scrub, we need to trade him" or "artest needs to be benched."

it's not subtle. shane battier himself said scola was the MVP of the reg. season for this team. SHANE BATTIER SAID IT. and yao ming is averaging around 17 pts for the playoffs. once again, win or lose, this has been a team effort.

but please, yao ming hasn't been criticized as much as AB or artest. so don't get into that.

It's just heartbreaking beaing a Rockets fan; from Rudy T and Ralph Sampson to the Big 3 of Drexler, Olajuwon, Barkley, (remember that year when one or 2 of them were always out? We had Sam Mack and Recasner, bunch of other scrubs) and now the T-Mac and Yao always getting injured; it just seems like someone is always getting hurt and killing the season.

The #@#$ Jazz ALWAYS had Stockton and Malone. They were never hurt! (No championship though!)

The one season the Admiral got hurt, the Spurs purposefully tanked to get Duncan, which never should have happened, he should have been a Celtic.

Duncan and Kobe never seem like they get hurt.

It almost seems like health is more important than talent.

Anyways the point is Rocket fans are just tired of becoming so emotionally involved and then watching the season crumble because of a fracture, a strain, a tear....

    This is an expected reaction....

As far as Yao is a Rocket, I appreciate him every night. This man fights every night on the court. He gave his best. Then he injured as every big man in the league (look at Bynum and Oden), you guys started to talk about trading him. How coldblooded!

I agree. I respect Yao immensely, he works hard and always tries to improve. As a rockets fan though, it is insane to every year rely upon Yao and Tracy, neither of whom can stay healthy. Try to see what we can get for each of these guys and build around the existing young guys and whoever Morey can pick up in a trade.

It's so sad to read the news and the posts you guys made. The fans are always want to win but there only one winner eventually. why donot we just enjoy the game ?At this time ,you guys are discussing about trading him instead of blesssing him. The injuries are not all due to yao's big size. He needs a good back-up for a long time. Uncle mutombo played very little time in the past few years.

So trade yao if it can please you. I am sure many teams are willing to sign him. It seems that yao's staying in houston is bad for both sides.

I think if Yao reads these posts he will feel less guilty to leave Houston. The reason for Yao to stay in Houston is not the money, but the obligation he feels. Actually many think he will do much better in another team. This is true even if he is labeled "injury prone."

    Trade him, eat the head.

Yao, you know now what you have done is nothing for Houston. If you still want to stay in Houston, we promise we will encourage more chinese fans to be the Yao-hater.
