I think you're probably trolling, but recall that the Rockets beat this team when they were healthy a few weeks ago. This is just a slump. A really, really bad slump.
Also, the officials have been ****ing TERRIBLE today. I don't know why they don't want us to win, but they clearly don't.
Let me guess - a MOF? Morey only fan? And you believe in a strange term known as "Chris Finch offense" ? hahaha. We were rockets fans before Morey came in and we will be around after he leaves. We are Rockets fans, we have pride. Rememebr those championship years?
Too late to tank. This team was playing over their heads before this losing streak. Look like the only starting talent they have on this team is Harden. Asik is a quality starting 5 with better power forward play, but without legit power forwards, Asik is not the answer moving forward either. With Harden stinking it up right now the team doesn't have a chance.
We can accept losing, but not playing like this garbage. This is the worst game I've seen the Rockets play since I became a fan in 2008-2009. Humiliating, DLeague teams look better than us. Something is wrong. Who will be man enough to admit it and go fix it?
And hopefully his name is Kevin McHale. This is the same damn thing that happened with D'antoni. He had a winning streak (7), then ended up losing like 6 games in a row because teams figured him out and he refused to adjust. Anyone watching these Rocket games KNOWS McHale has NO IDEA what he's doing half the time. Just yells at his team to "Let's go." That's about it.
Teams have worked out the Lin & Harden pairing again. If the Rockets keep these two together they need a stretch 4 asap. Otherwise move Lin to a 6th man role off the bench. Let him be the Jamal Crawford, Terry, or JR Smith for this team. For that to happen the Rockets need a starting PG but that's likely impossible during the season.
I understand you are a little upset, but blowing up the team is not the answer. We all know this team is better than this.
They're probably tanking. Mchale probably said "let's lose for the rest of the season so we can get the first pick".
Not sure I agree with this. I would much rather just see more diverse sets, & audibles that this team can run on offense. The problem this team has now, is that their offensive sets are the most predictable in the league. The gameplan is simple, pack the paint to the drivers(Harden/Lin/Parsons), just run off the shooters instead of dedicating full time one-on-one coverage, and just let Asik free to be the man who can beat you on offense. If the team starts packing the paint, they need some audible plays to run to either get back cuts, or run a low post threat in the paint to try and command a double team to free the offense up a bit. I think going out and getting a Channing Frye/Ryan Anderson big man would be a huge, huge short sighted mistake. They need more diversity on offense most importantly. They are way too predictable right now.
Do we trust Morey not to waste draft picks on the likes of Patterson, Morris, Motiejunas, Parsons, White, Lamb and Jones?
