Our big men need to put in work.Free throws for sure. But also on box outs. When Dwight goes for a block or tries his best for a rebound, someone does NOT do their part to help or box out their own guy. So practice boxing out!
You can't practice FT during such a short period of time and expect to hit everything in the game. Many times, it's psychological. Howard is actually a really good FT shooter during practice. But in games, he just can't hit anything. Shaq used to be like that too. He would shoot 80% or more during practice, but in the game, he'll shoot like 46%.
A long layoff (6 days) might very well help the Rockets. It gives them not only time to rest, but to sharpen their game. As Terry pointed out, even though they wrapped it up their series against Dallas pretty quickly, the players feel they haven't played well.
