    So the GDP grows less when the top marginal tax rate is lower.

    It looks like the GDP does best when the top marginal tax rate is around 75-80%.

    The deficit can be helped at the same time we are growing the GDP

    That's an interesting plot, but obviously a lot of information is missing. How many years were tax rates within each of those ranges? When tax rates entered a given range, were they being increased or decreased?
