--I know I should let this thread die, but I can't stand ignorant people like Juugie.--

Damn, Juugie, I thought you was just hating on Yao cuz you didn't like his level of play, but you brought race into the subject. When you say people like Yao cuz he aint black, doesnt that mean we can flip the script and say that you don't like Yao because he's not black? Let me guess, you're not like that at all right? Hey buddy, when you make generalizations like that, expect it to come back to you. Often times, I find the people who always look for racism in all aspects of life are the real racists themselves. BTW, that remark about Rox fans being on Yao cuz he aint black? WHO THE FUQ do you think is the most popular player of all time in Houston? I'll give you a hint, he's tall, dark, and definetely NOT white. Save your crap about race for the Nation of Islam or the KKK boards, this is a basketball board.

You are the exact definition of a candidate for a local militia. Unlike you, most of us don't try to look as hard as you do for a race angle. If we have problems with "streetballers", it's because the last 10 chamoionships have been won by the Spurs Lakers, Bulls and Rox. Teams that were built on characters that for the most part didn't play stupidly on the court (Rodman had issues, but on the court, he was a true team player). If we Rox fans feel that the Jailblazers arent a good team model to build on, then yes we can be guilty of that. But you yourself are most guilty for associating being a black ballplayer with being "street or streetball, selfish, arrogant, bling-bling, dumb, idiot, hot dogging, weed head, etc " Noone has eevr made that statement or distinction, until your implication in your thread. You know I'm sure most ROx fans remember the 90's Rox teams with fondness, and I don't think it was because of guys like Matt Bullard. It's because they won, pure and simple. BTW Juugie, just a simple question, what nationality are you?

i miss the old bbs. Why do people just put down one person so much? So what he thinks yao ming has some faults? This board is bombed with insults about steve and how steve has some homosexual relations with cat!?! But you people never single out steve haters this much. That is what i call biasedness. One comment that puts yao ming back on earth is just unacceptable to people on this board.

In one of your previous post, you said yao is a joker, was it right? This is a public board for speaking out. No fault for anyone who posts what he likes. I believe steve is a nice guy and unselfish player. He just can't fit well in JVG's system.

dude, yao is only in his second year, give him a break already!!!!

when he feels that he can take over the team, he shall.... In the mean time, let him progress how he feels like!!! We are not in his shoes so we do not know what he has to go thru....

I believe he will be extremely good one day, be patient.

He gets jumped on not because he talks about Yao, most of us ROx fans I think have our own opinions about it, but when he starts tossing around moronic statements pretty much blatantly saying that Housto fans are racist and that we prefer white players because in our own little world, the only blacks we know are thugs and weedheads, well I'm sorry but I'm going to get my two cents in, cuz that is just uncalled for.

As expected, Juugie is nowhere to be seen after Yao Ming had a great game against Shaq - again.

Sometimes I think that Juugie has anterograde amnesia, that it's not he doesn't show up when Yao has good games, but that he simply CAN'T remember when Yao has a good game. However, he seems to clearly remember when Yao has lousy games. So that pretty much disapproves of that theory.

I have no problem giving Yao credit for having a great game. He certainly deserves it.

The board has about 123123128 posts about Yao's great game so I figured anything I had to say would be redundant.

As I have said so many times, I don't hate Yao. I just don't agree with most people as to how good he will be. That's all.

Once again, great game Yao! Keep up the good work!

I don't care if a player has 50 points and 20 rebounds, I won't give them credit unless they won the game

I don't think last season was any better. In fact, it was just as bad. :p

And if my memory hasn't failed me, you have been one of the more vocal posters when it comes to exchanging insults on this board. Personally, I don't have any problem with this type of posts as long as Clutch finds it acceptable.
