Bruh. So when you said Stone HIRED Silas which Harden didn't, you never said Stone hires is what drove Harden away?
The hiring is not what drove him away, Harden wanted out before he was hired, we both said that. Everything else that happened didnt help, and that is why he forced himself out w a fat suit. The fat suit was a result of the management team not listening to Harden. Stone was a part of that team, even before being promoted officially.
No you didn't, your post literally said "the issues with Harden are on Stone for letting it boil over". Are you dumb? Why would you blame Stone and at the same time say Harden wanted out before he was hired? You even said Stone hired Silas which was false.
LMAO dude read it again, slowly. What was my original post about? It was about not getting enough value, and the timing of it. When you let it boil over and initially say you are not trading him, and making him put a fat suit on, that is obviously not communicated to James he was going to be traded. By not telling James they would work a deal early, he did what he did, that is on Stone. Not sure why you are struggling so much with the reading comprehension here.
So what if it didn't help? Harden already wanted out so why are you saying that's on Stone? Rockets Did listen to Harden and traded him to a team of his choice. You clearly got no clue what you are trying to say you just spouting random crap you can think off hoping something sticks.
You make a lot of assumptions there's no problem with my reading comphrension it's you talking as if you were there and knew wjar was going on. Where even is the proof OKc offered SGA for the 2nd pick? You just casually say that like it's a fact. Why does Harden doing what he did on Stone? So you think if you tell Harden they would work a deal Harden would be OK staying on the team? Cuz that's what happened in Philly right? Right? Lol wtf.
LMAO AGAIN you are really struggling here, read the initial post. It had nothing to do with STone pushing him out, it has to do with value. You can not possibly be this dense. This is why standardized testing was important in grade school.
You don't have a clue about Harden's value you aren't an insider. Where's the proof OKc offered SGA for 2nd pick?
You dont need to be an insider, you look at comps. PG, Donovan, Gobert , etc. They are not going to be 1:1 because they are different players, but that is how you would determine value. I cant have a discussion w someone who failed their TAKS/TASS test.
So you don't have any clue but still think you know Harden would have gotten more assets if Stone told Harden they'd get him a deal? How do you even know Stone didn't talk to Harden? Were you there? Why even have people work for Rox with salary when Fertita can call you and you tell the entire NBA what Harden is worth just by pulling crap outta your ass? Never mind that Harden trade happened before Gobert and Mitchell, use those not yet made trades to determine Harden's value amirite? Never mind that Harden is the only one with specific teams he wanted to be traded, his value would be the same if only Stone bothered to talk to Harden which he never did amirite? This is the Xth time I'm asking about the SGA trade offer for the 2nd pick. If you can't even back up your claim why the hell you so confident you know how much Harden's value is?
Just to throw it out there, when the Harden stuff happened, Harden hired an agency to deal with all the trade negotiations...... I assume Stone and the Nets met with this agency many times to make it a smooth transaction.... I remember it ... the goal likely was not fleecing anyone but to negotiate an agreeable deal for both sides and that mainly Harden can move on.....
Yep. Tilman liked Harden even after he demanded a trade. Ferntits appreciated what Harden gave us and wanted to make sure the trade put him in a good spot. That limited our trading partner options to just a few teams. Worse than that, it crippled our leverage because those teams knew they could play hardball with us. It's a small miracle that Stone was able to get all those FRPs and swaps from the Nets, probably because they were under pressure from KD to improve the roster.
Harden wanted them to get this, he is a diva but not someone who is ungrateful....so the Rockets ended up with a decent haul of assets. Nets played ball.
Instead of going after players, how long will Stone continue to get a pass? All the phase 2 talk went out of the window when he decided to get zero reinforcements and punt the season until next year.
It's still hilarious to me that this dude really hitched his wagon to Kevin Porter Jr and the team has been on the back heel ever since. Kevin Porter Jr and Jalen Green. That's Stone's legacy.
This team is ass. Stone has done nothing but draft meh players, stockpile picks that will likely be used for more meh players, and sign free agents that are meh players. I don't care how many more games we have already won compared to last season, the last few seasons were so damn putrid all you have to do is turn the lights on and it will be an improvement. It's not even entertaining to watch the games, it's not like there's a "just wait until these guys put it together" potential kind of viewing either. These guys are who they are, I don't think anybody is going to break out into a superstar suddenly. This team has no superstars and it will not be a playoff team again until they find one. Get to effing work Stone.
