Jabari by himself should get him fired. Not to mention the KPJ stuff.

He built a team that can't shoot and has no rim protection. What a joke. They clearly didn't want Jabari either because they're so stupid that they thought Paolo was a lock so they drafted a guy they didn't even really evaluate or work out.

Why Jabari? He was the consensus #1 pick his whole draft class. Stone deserves criticism, but Jabari isn't one of them. Do better threads.

    Yes I want Stone gone.

I’m just gonna go ahead and assume Amen is a bust based on Stone’s track record with Top 5 picks. Sorry.

Stone didn't even want Jabari only drafted him because the two teams ahead of him were smart enough to know Jabari is not going to amount to anything.

Nothing tells us he was the consensus #1 pick among NBA teams, because he was not picked #1 by the team who had the pick. Reading things from a bunch of beat writers who never played the game or worked in an NBA front office does not mean a thing. We have no idea what most other team's draft boards looked like, but we know for sure that he was not #1 on ORL or OKC's draft board, he was not #2 on OKC's draft board either. The only other data you have are a bunch of writers who know nothing.

I didn't watch Jabari in college (other than the NCAA tourney where he barely got to shoot) but - i am still amazed any scouts had him a top 3 or even top 5 pick, let alone #1 overall.

He doesn't have impressive measurables, his shooting is blah, he is not fast or strong or quick. Like all of the future DPOY or all defense stuff is just so far out of the realm of anything I've seen , he's not even remotely close and doesn't have the tools to do it.

If he was some freak athlete I'd get it but I've been mystified as to how he ever vaulted into that consensus high lotto status.

He was the consensus #1 pick for 2 months and was questioned why he was the consensus #1 pick for the entire two months. It felt like some elaborate prank by draft experts. I don't know how anyone watched the film and thought yea, he's the #1 pick. A player who is nearly 7 feet tall and is dependant on his shot is a late first rounder in every other draft.

He was great at catch and shoot in college in my recollection. Still waiting. The defense reputation is confusing to me.
