Penetration, transition defense, poor defensive rebounding. All these things hurt the Rockets in the fourth. Not just perimeter players hitting jumpers.

    That's not gonna happen.

It's time to question Adelman's coaching.

Or Bonzi...putting him in the game meant an automatic run by Philly.

And Hayes would have stopped all that? He's a good defensive player but unless he would have slapped Rafer Luther and Battier upside their heads to knock some common bball sense into them, then we'd still be facing a loss.

That's another thing we lack, a floor leader who can rally his team and bark out orders when their struggling on the floor. Rafer looked like he was becoming that before this game but you can't be the voice of reason when you're the major part of the problem like tonight.

No question Scola should start. What does Chuck Hayes do that Scola cannot? Scola was diving for balls and getting rebounds in the 4th quarter last night when it seemed noone else gave a crap about what was going on. Scola played with lots of heart last night, something the rest of his teammates knew little about.

To me, I would like to see Landry to start for a change. He seemed to play very well with Yao and I really like his scoring power, rebounding will and
his athletism. I was really upset with Adelman when he pulled him after he made several impressive putbacks. For the time being, Landry should get at least 10-20 min PT.

I concur about Landry getting more of Hayes minutes too.He seems to be a 3/4.This guy is special....Adelman is bringing him along really slow.I would assume it's because of the knee and the "adjustment" to the NBA,but he looks like another bigtime steal.

I think this sounds crazy, but you could play them both at the same time.

Scola and Landry could play together....let Landry play SF and take some of Battier's minutes or move everyone down a spot, leave Rafer or Head on the bench.

I was really impressed with Landry when he made that follow up put back and then when he grab the rebound and faked a few times before putting it in.
He also chased a long rebound later and got hold of the ball after bad miss by one of our players. He should play more that Head period.

It is strange. Our bench (rookies) are better than starters.

Agree with you man. It is time to shake up this starting line up and made some change. Chuck is blue collar worker but he can be our 6th man comes off the bench just like Bonzi. Scola will have different mentality when he start by staying out of foul troubles.
