Dude I have nothing against dmo. As of right now dmo and smith would start together. Also dmo as I said is more consistent and better offensively bit josh smith had improved as late and once again I'm referencing more towards playoffs saying josh smith is the better overall player and our best pf defender. That's all I'm saying. Josh smith should be guarding Lamarcus Aldridge or Blake griffin throughout the game. Cuz if he subs he may face the other sub pf for there team and then limited minutes verse Blake and etc.

With Dwight out and Bev sucking so bad, I'd say our best 5 are Canaan, Harden, Ariza, DMo, Smith.

But since we all know McHale won't play Canaan until one of Bev or Terry is in a wheelchair, our realistic best 5 guys are Terry, Harden, Ariza, DMo, Smith.

And that should explain why we're gonna tread water at best for the next 10 games or so against all these good teams.

The one perfect aspect of our team right now is Josh Smith. You just can't change his role now, he is finally looking like a positive contributor to a team. It has been a while since that was the case.

I'd replace Terry with Brewer, personally, but your point is valid. It's going to be a struggle, especially against quality centers and point guards.

    I agree with this....

Plus who cares if he starts or not... Right now he's getting starter minutes and he's finishing games..

    Canaan, is not ready...

Yes he will have a couple of good games here and there.. But his defense is just flat out terrible and decision making is not that good...

Canaan is a scorer and when he's off he's useless...

As I said *playoffs* josh smith guarding there best pf from the get go because if he subs he may face there sub then limited minutes vs starter when actually put best defender should be pestering there starter all game. Speacily when it comes to the elite PFs

    WHAT????? makes no freaking sense...

Anyway, Josh is fine coming off the bench it's where he feels comfortable at the present time and as Easy stated... If it ain't broke don't mess with it.....

Josh is playing a lot of minutes and he's contributing big time, so leave well enough alone.

That did not look to be the case when he was starting for us, not even close.

Wasn't about Bev... The comment was on Canaan...

I stand by my words... Canaan is not ready to run the point... Is Bev the answer No...

Actually, I would look at getting another SG or start Brewer...

I would move Harden to the pg, the same as the GS did with Curry.

The actual guard of the future is Nick J.

Yall are acting like Smith shut down Aldridge or something tonight. Newsflash! He didn't. I got backed down just like Jones during the playoffs, and the Rockets were having to double-team leaving open their shooters. I think Motiejunas has the most success against Aldridge. If Howard had played tonight, it would've been a different result, though.

I think Dorsey starting is clear sign the Rockets want to maintain some sort of stable rotation in preparation for Dwight coming back. Just keep it like this. Josh Smith is currently the captain of the 2nd run-and-gun unit. Dude is clearly excelling in that role.

True.. In the first half he was getting backed down like Jones, but there was slight difference..

In the second half Smith adjusted, unlike Jones and he played great defense on Aldridge...
