Josh smith has been fantastic for the rockets on the bench. Even being more consistent on 3s. You think it's time for josh smith to be given a chance to start or he should stay on the bench?. The reason I say this is obviously smith is our best pf defender and it would make sense for him *come playpffs* to be guarding somone like Aldridge and etc from The get go. Plus his offense is better to. What do you guys think?. Personally I do not mind him on the bench but also as I said my concerns are matchups come play offs.
Nope. Dmo had one bad game. We don't want to give Josh Smith a full blown starting license to shoot it won't end well. He is a great spark off the bench.
I don't disagree. I think offensively dmo has a better set of moves but I personally feel josh smith is the better all around player. Yes he is a fantastic spark off the bench but dmo and jones can't?.
Lol. No offense but y'all are worse then the "fire Mchale" guys. Just because he struggled starting coming here it automatically makes him not a legit starter?. He's still getting slot of minutes. My soul purpose is that he defend the best player in his position come playoffs. Let's face it t jones and dmo aren't all that grat defenders. With jones being off and on but really undersized
I think so actually. I think the rotation will work much better with Dorsey playing behind DMo and Jones playing behind Smith. Smith and Jones playing together is just too undersized, especially against larger teams like the Blazers.
If I'm not mistaken isn't josh smith out biggest pf?. Ontop of that to were talking about josh smith the guy who blocked Tyson chandler like three times.
Nah, Smith fits better off the bench, he has more freedom and makes our bench significantly better. Honestly I was hoping that Jones would come back strong and we could start him and DMo while Howard is out, but looks like we'll have to stick with Dorsey for awhile, Jones still just isn't all the way back yet.
Having Dorsey start is so stupid to me. He plays like. 10 minutes. He's somewhat productive but I'm just not seeing why he's starting.
Dmo looked like the old Dmo and I feel was the biggest reason the Rox loss tonight. He's too important to the team now to have games like tonight. But benching him after the first really bad game he has had in a while is overreacting. Smith helps us more off the bench.

He fills a lot of needs. Does this make him a bench player? No. He is just perfect for us off of the bench at this moment.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Josh is doing fine coming off the bench. And DMo is fine starting. Don't mess it up. I am kind of worried about Jones.
