I was gonna make a thread like this so thanks op. Rick isn't getting younger anyways and I don't think he would want to be around once we start to rebuild. The guy I 'm guessing will replace him will be his right hand man Elston Turner. Not a sexy pick I know. But let me throw out some other names. Eile but be up for consideration like he was last time. Don Chaney, JVG, free agent to be Nate Mcmillan. And my over the top pick Sam Cassell. I said to myself that the rockets should of signed him to be a assistant coach and learn under Rick. You might think I'm crazy for saying that but the coach for the Clippers didn't have experience either before he became the head coach of the Bulls.

The left one looks like he's having an orgasm LOL.

As for RA personally I would fire him simply because he's a terrible in-game coach. I still consider him one of the best coaches out there, but there's no way a coach like him will bring this team a championship. You have to have an over-bearing amount of talent to even have a chance, and even then there's always the risk RA will bench the hot players, over extend the cold players, and then wonder why the opponent went on an 12-4 tear the last 5 minutes. Or maybe he'll play all the starters 39 minutes in the first game of a back-to-back, play the same starters 39 minutes again the next game and then wonder why his starters look so flat.

Personally I think having horrible in-game decisions is a fatal flaw for a coach, and I'd rather take a chance on a young and hungry assistant coach instead, or maybe convince JVG to give coaching a try again. Of course I'm in the minority on this, most people (probably with DM included) would rather keep RA for as long as he wants the job.

The photos he posted undermine his argument. Give Rick some of those players and our record would be reversed.

If you give Rick half of those players from those teams, we'll be unbeatable.

no, the players need to check their egos and listen to the guy who has won more games then they've played

I don't think Les wants to rebuild, he'll retain some of the players and go for it one more time.

    Can't be said enough times.

It's annoying to hear how the coach is always the first one to blame when the players are just not good enough.

You are giving credit to young coaches who have Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, and Boston's big 3. You give any of those to Adelman, and he'll do an even better job than the current coach of those teams. Adelman is a great coach, and right now he has crappy players.

Get rid of the players before the coach this time.

Well put. The Texans are in need of a coaching change, not the Rockets....yet.

I must say, I was a happier fan when JVG was here. Its one thing to see your team lose but another thing to see your team not putting much effort and lose.
