exactly. Kris Dunns progress in the NBA will determine WHEN Rubio is dealt. Not IF...

This. Dunn will be the starting point guard sooner rather then later. Rubio will be traded by the deadline. Next summer at the absolute latest. These quotes are probably just to raise teams offers for him since Minnesota "values" him.

That's logical. Normally, you don't get rid of your starting pg until your star of the future proves himself.

yeah makes sense. We kept Lin for a year after Bev became starter. Makes sense they wouldn't jettison Rubio just yet

So do you really think Minnesota is going to go to training camp and into the regular season risking Rubio getting injured and killing any chance of getting value for him in trade?

You do? So then you think Minnesota is going to go into the regular season and have Dunn prove himself until he bypasses Rubio and then Rubio's trade value goes down because it's midseason and he has become a reserve?

    You do? Yokay.

You don't get it. They are asking too much; thus why no one will trade for him. They have to come to grips that his value is already low, and so do you.

Like how we kept Lin for an entire year while Bev was starting, then came to realize most his value was in his ability to clear cap space.

btw: THIS is the thread where we should be talking about Rubio. Not in the GARM, unless you want to discuss trade speculations in the TRADE SPECULATION thread.

Like you said in your Feedback thread. "Aren't there rules for that."

    :p

Do you really think Obama will defeat Romney?

Do you really think Dwight won't re-sign with the Rockets in 2016?

Do you really think the Rockets will never acquire a single player in my list of target acquisitions?

    You do? Yokay.

Do you get that the GARM thread should be locked, and "there are rules for that?"
