That's unfair. He wasn't even there for two full years.

That said, you can't bang your insubordinates. That's a definite no no. He deserves to be fired if he did that.

I just wish that if he was going to do it, it'd be a little more innovative than the ol' cliche of "he was banging his assistant". Can you imagine the drama if we found out he was banging Karl Anthony Townes? Now that would be interesting.

What about your subordinates? Are they fair game?

Don't want that soft dude on my squad. I respect him as a person and he's suffered a lot but his game is weak.

Boy, this tweet did not age well...

This seems to line up pretty well with the Chris Wallace/Matt Bullard hire timeline. Front office was basically empty other than Rafael Stone and Eli Witus in early July, about one month before the draft. Gupta, who overlapped with Stone/Witus in the analytics department under Morey, would have ostensibly been the #3 or #2b at best in Houston. BTW, The Athletic article makes it seem like Gersson screwed Sachin pretty hard, blocking him from taking the Rockets job when it was open, and then effectively firing him right after the position had been filled. Maybe put in a 60-day non-compete or something to prevent him from joining immediately and covering the draft/FA, but they way they did it seems more like waiving a player one day after the cutoff date to be eligible for the playoffs so he can't play against you.

Also, the phrase "proprietary knowledge" considering that Sachin Gupta caught Rosas in the act makes me laugh...

Sachin Gupta really wants to come back.
    I think he misses Houston.

I think he will be back, once they find a another GM, the Wolves really want Elton Brand, a guy that had 6 Centers in the Roster before Daryl Morey got there to clean up Elton Brands mess.
