    LOL....

    Bargnani is total crap
    HOWEVER
Bargnani had a 20ppg season (and a 19, and a 17 - heck, he has 7000+ career points) - Bennett looks unlikely to survive past his rookie contract... (and has 485 career points)

Bennett can score 7000 points on 43% shooting like Bargnani while never ever playing defense - who the F in the NBA can't?

Bennett's a good player, easily a starter on a contender in a couple of years. He can hit jumpers, he's a good rebounder and he's strong enough to play inside. He was completely not ready to play in his first season, physically and mentally.

This year his confidence is obviously still coming back, but the biggest problem is the moron Flip Saunders has been shopping Thadeus Young for what seems like years now. There's no reason why Bennett shouldn't be playing through his mistakes on this team and growing with their young guys - instead Flip keeps feeding Pekovic and Young. Yes I know the team needs to trade those guys, but they are known commodities at this point and there is no reason they need to be playing nearly as often as they are.

I'd take him on the Rockets right now, even with 3 PF's on the roster.

Agree about AB. Think he turns into a good player in this league. Limited mins this year in Minny but looks much better.

To the trade..Seems like a high price to a guy who has been on the struggle bus this year. SL, D-League, and NBA i believe all rough. Fun player out of college though.

Payne was supposed to be the most NBA ready of the draft and he is quite old for a rookie with limited upside. The fact that he couldn't crack the rotation and they soured so fast on him is very telling.
I wonder what's Atlanta's next move and also WHO made the move. Coach GM Bud or the man behind the scenes Ferry? If Atlanta gets Neal that would be crazy to me. The guy is a malcontent who is having one of his worst shooting slumps and he can't do anything else than shoot. For sure won't help with their main problem = rebouding.
AB needs more time and hope that the change of scenery will help him. It was unfair what happened last year with all the ridicule. :(
