With The Jets signing, Tebow, they have the prettiest QB's in the NFL. lol. All they need now is, Carr, Gabbert, and Alex Smith, and they would have a boy band Called "The Noodle Arm Kids on the Block" LOL!
This is totally awesome! I hope the Jets players continue despising Sanchez, a boatload of them love Tebow, their lockerroom splits right down the middle and becomes an ever bigger circus. I love the Jets! The best scenario would be for them to start out next season very strong and then disintegrate late.

I don't buy the Jags tried to get him I dont think they want to sell tickets just want to get to LA ASAP. Jaguars winning combined with Tebow mania/sell outs will make the owner look like a douche when he takes the team away. Now they will go 6-10 at best with 25,000 in attendance easy exit..
God the Jets simply don't have winning as their top priority. Well, they'll be the most talked about team, good or bad.
Just imagine how big Tebowmania would be if he starts winning games for the Jets the way he did for Denver. It would be crazier than ever.
So apparently Jax offered half a million more dollars and a higher 4th round draft pick, but the Broncos sent him to NYJ. This lends credence to the rumor Tebow got to pick his destination. Hard for anybody to say they "wronged him" when that is probably the first time in NFL history a player has got to choose where he was traded to.
So then the question is why did he want to go to NY and be a backup in a media circus and a messed up locker room, as opposed to being the starter in a city that loves him. I'd love to hear from him.
the jags are more dysfunctional than even the jets. they may be moving to cali, they are in flux. besides, tebow has been there and done florida. nyc offers him an opportunity to continue the "brand" on the largest stage possible. i even think it's a good fit in football terms. this, of course, is all speculation but i believe he will do well and help the jets.
Supposedly Tebow likes Rex Ryan (even though he's a boorish pottymouth who jerks it to feet), and no doubt the team is more primed for success than the Jaguars. Plus his role in NYJ would be clear and useful, as opposed to Jax, where he'd just be a celebrity in shoudlerpads. Then there's the obvious New York market > Jacksonville market thing.
There are 5 giant, front page, Tim Tebow stories/links on nfl.com right now. I'm already sick of this move.
No owner is moving their team to LA. LA hasn't been able to support 2 teams, including the Raiders during their Heyday. Plus there is no stadium whatsoever right now. They still have that "LA Stadium plan" but that really has not changed since 2009. The state itself is in all kinds of monetary crisis and a plan of that sort cannot just sit while public officials change, and have to deal with bigger issues. No team would agree to move there given that turmoil and history. On top of that, the new Jags owner is a businessman, but he is very old school, especially in how he built his previous business. Everbank Field is in good shape and with a good lease. On top of that, the Jaguars have actually increased their season ticket holders attendance each of the past 2 years. The reason for the bad ticket sales of the team is simply because of the small market size of the city, which is changing a great deal, and because the city itself is fairly young and has a large proportion of people relocating from other places. On top of that, the team never really did a great job of making itself a must see team with a true must-see star QB or player. MJD is a very good player, but he is does not have the flash of a AD, LT or who have you. Without that flash and then never really matching that amazing run under Mark Brunell early in their existence, they never were able to truly take hold of the young fan base. I'm not saying the Jags do not have issues. Their player development, esp QB, and offensive coaching over the past decade has been borderline atrocious. But they are no ways dysfunctional in the same way the Jets appear to be.
