This is a recent article? I could have sworn it was written a couple months ago. Not translating into wins? Shouldn't this guy be up to date on what is happening in the league? The real story is the contributions made by our three rookies.
i am not pissed about legler as some of the other writers who seem to not have a frickin clue and havent seemed to watched a rocks game in years....... but leg is fairly dead on guys.......sad but true......... u have got to realize that rocks should by no means no way be pushing in a 10 spot in the west EVER.............everyone had expectations of this being at least a top 5 or 6 at the least this season guys......so being thats not the case we are a dissapointment big time.......save the last 16 games bottom line the rocks have bonafied superstars(2) and a good enough supporting cast to be higher than we are and thats why we get bashed.......and thats gonna always be the case until our beloved rocks change that.......be dont have to be number one but we dam sure shouldnt be 9 or 10..........thats just keeping it real so many teams in the west are doing more with less than us portland and no come to mind........... sure no has paul and west.......but we have yao and tracy........and a better supporting cast then them.....makes no sense to me either.........
I don't think a C- is completely unreasonable. I would've given them maybe a C, but bottom line is the Rockets played like crap after their 6-1 start up until that double OT game against Denver. Since that night, they appear to have turned a corner and have been red hot ever since. Even their handful of losses all could've been wins if a few breaks had gone their way. And who gives a rat's ass what score they get from a chump like Legler right before the All-Star Break? Let's worry about the only ranking that matters: The Western Conference standings at the end of April.
Tim Legler is right. If the playoffs started today the Rockets wouldn’t be in it. How could you rate them any higher than a C-?

Judging by the thread title I expected much worse than a brief yet to-the-point criticism of our team. Last year at this time everybody was in love with us and we were #4 on most major power rankings charts.
what does this idiot mean "taking a step back defensively"? the rockets are playing 3 rookies and the opponents FG% is still ranked no. 2 in the League. This idiot doesnt know what he's talking about.
The league has better offensive teams than last season. There are so many teams with offensive ratings 110+. It's crazy. So many teams can score in bunch.
